Do you realize that you are not talking about reality?

They found evidence to back criminal obstruction of justice. They found evidnce to show that his campaign desired help from the Russian including government connected agents in the race against Clinton. They found that his campaign gave information to actual members of the Russian government. They found that Trump's S-I-L tried to establish official backdoor communication to work with the Russian government.

I am going to list a series of established facts (again). These are things that have been proven. You tell me which of these you consider trivial.

Is it a faux scandal that the Russians offered dirt on the Democratic party's candidate to help Trump get elected?

Is it a faux scandal that when that dirt was offered to the President's son who was working on his father's campaign that he didn't call the FBI, he did not refuse to meet with them, instead he said that he would love the help of the Russians?

Is it a faux scandal that Trump Jr, campaign chair, Manafort, and Jared Kushner took that meeting?

Is it a faux scandal that they concealed that meeting from the public?

Is it a faux scandal that when that meeting was discovered they lied and said it was about adoptions?

Is it a faux scandal that Trump helped come up with that lie?

Is it a faux scandal that Trump's campaign chairman offered data to a Russian oligarch?

Is it a faux scandal that the president's son-in-law sought to set up a back channel of communications through a Russian diplomatic facility?

Is it a faux scandal that people who part of Trump's campaign reached out to hostile intel agencies to try and discover dirt and ways to use it.

Is it a faux scandal that Trump's appointee reached out to a Russian diplomat about a way to undermine sanctions this nation had put in place against Russia?

Is it a faux scandal that the person then lied about it to the FBI?

This stuff has been confirmed to have happened. It isn't fake news or anything they just suspect happened. This stuff has all been confirmed to have happened.

Which of these things would you equate to jaywalking or going 56mph when the speed limit was 55mph?

Or you could just stop posting opinion pieces as if they are not highly biased.

    What are you here for?

It's definitely not to contribute anything to non biased discussions like you claim to be doing.

I think everyone on here has their biases or put differently, viewpoints.

D&D has never been about dry recitations of fact and there are plenty of opinion pieces and posts going both ways on here.

In my view, that is what makes it worth reading -- getting different perspectives.

Nah. A debate and discussion is more fun when the debate is about differences ideologies and policy desires.

Now most debates on the D&D are about disagreement of basic underlying facts. That actually isn't fun and is just tedious and annoying.

There are no facts, only interpretations.

I had a professor once say: "there is no knowable truth." [He was quoting someone else]

I think the essence of what he was trying to say was -- very few things are clearly one thing or the other.

That is, most things -- actions, events, trends, etc. -- are open to debate, interpretation, and spin.

Yes but most of the D&D has turned into debates of objective truths as in "did he or did he not do such and such?". Policy discussion has become far more rare in the D&D. The abortion thread is probably the only current active thread we're people are debating ideas and policy.
