    As many have noticed, there is a lot that Daryl Morey can learn from the Toronto Raptors being in the Finals and winning against the Warriors in Game 1. However, the Raptors are not the only thing that Morey can learn from. As such, I am starting this thread to educate Daryl Morey. Please share the lessons Daryl Morey needs to learn from events around the NBA and around the world.

    To start, today Woj reported the following:



    I hope that Morey is watching Ja Morant because the Rockets, too, must remove a loose body from their right knee. It may be uncomfortable for a while, but they will also recover within 3 or 4 weeks.

    Lesson is to hire a playoff overachieving coach. Nothing is more critical than this.
    4 rookie coaches are in nba finals since 2015.
    How can this happen? Mda has never been there.

    Sure they got lucky with Kawhi trade but Siakam is amazing.

    Meanwhile Morey keeps trading away his 1st rounders to get rid of bad contracts he created.

    He's the perfect example of if your GM's drafting skills aren't dogshit, you're able to pick up a good piece late in the 1st round.
