    Both parties at fault. Scotty for not covering his ass with the lease contract, the people who lived there for thinking they owned the joint. I own rental property and you have to spell it all out in the contract, then refer the tenants back to that contract.

    Possibly, or they didn’t actually damage the property in the way he is alleging. If they did I don’t blame him for the lawsuit.
