Line opens up the same as Game 1 for now. If KD returns, itll definitely flip. judging by the most recent reports, he won't be back til game 3
If Toronto wins game two, then GS has to win four out the remaining five and two of those games are on the Raptors home court. A game two victory would put Toronto in the driver's seat.
VanVleet is a great defender against Curry. Curry scored just 4 points when defended by VV in a Dec. game and 0 points yesterday. If this continues, then this series is a wrap. The Raptors GM does not get enough credit for building a contender. Imo, he is a much better talent evaluator than Morey in regards to individual talent and the pieces needed for his system to work.
Good point, but if GS wins game two, they can win the series without returning to Toronto. In any case, game two is very important for both teams. A victory gives an advantage of sorts to either team. Personally, I think it is most important for the Raptors. If they can take one of the three games at GS, they would return home with two chances to win the series and the title.
so long as KD is out, they need to win all those games is my viewpoint haha. they're playing with a huge fire if they happen to drop any of those games.
It's no longer a 2-3-2 format, though. It's 2-2-1-1-1, like every other round in the playoffs. But I agree - game 2 is important for both teams.
I was thinking the same, while Morey certainly takes big risks like Majai or whatever his name is, the latter seems to evaluate talent better
