pretty sure Toronto didn't win the series last night. let's wait a bit and see what GSW does in the way of making adjustments

Yea Harden didnt play up to his potential that game, but we all saw last nights game. You think Kawhi was the reason they won? He didn’t really make much of an impact.

He was there in the 4th/OT of game 3 and game 4.

It’s not realistic to expect him to average 40 ppg, and hit every single big shot, while being double teamed, and single handily beat the warriors with 2 of his top 4 players playing like complete trash 90% of the series.

They doubled him for the whole game. That's why Siakam went off.

i know they did. they had walls waiting for him once he got the ball. he adjusted to how they were playing him and it allowed others to make plays. he was definitely a big reason on why they won

playing 43 minutes is not considered someone who didn't make an impact

Nope, but whoever wins Gm 1 has a very good chance, it's just the odds.

We are talking about GSW so that is why everyone is so cautious but if the Cavs can beat them, even undermanned, the Raptors have a chance, esp. with HC advantage.

The Raps seem to be deeper and more talented than the Houston team last year.

Sure he can get his fair share of blame. but his fair share is the smallest of anyone’s except Tucker. Harden had a very good series. He posted better numbers than Curry and was on par with Durant. I know he was bad I’m some high leverage situations but that doesn’t mean Cp wasn’t way more to blame and I love CP

Morey doesn't need to watch the Raptors.

The Raptors didn't win game one because of ball movement.

The Raptors won game one, and will give teams problems because they have length and athleticism at the 3 and 4 spots and even at the 5 when Ibaka plays.

This isn't earth shattering insight and Morey has coveted length and athleticism at the 3-4, it is just hard to get.

He didn’t look like he caused any kind of shot creation that was mostly Lowry. I’m about to look at Siakm highlights again to confirm.

the amount of blame isn't that important. as the best player he could of done things better. that just comes with the territory of what he built for himself. Other guys could of done better also, but harden doesn't get some pass. people can pile on everyone else to make themselves feel better, as if harden can do no wrong. that certainly won't be happening here. I couldn't care less about some player apologist. the team takes precedence over that anyday

I agree with that. My frustration stems from several aspects; Harden's missed free throw at OKC (We would've had the 2nd seed), MDA not being able to push the right buttons in the playoffs (Not playing Faried, not making adjustments), Morey continuing to not being able to find a viable SF or PF and giving away our #1 Draft Picks yr after yr.

No one else on the raptors even averaged 17 ppg this year

I love that the excuse of "Toronto only won because Durant didn't play" can't be used for this sorry ass team.

    I ****ing love it.

Siakam has actual ball skills...Capela can barely function without Harden setting him up...it’s not a fair comparison

Siakam has post moves, can drive and finish, has Euro steps, etc...Capela has none of that

not sure what game you were watching tbh. lowry wasn't even great last night. its funny how his standard has now become the 1 or 2 charges he takes a night and the hussle plays. That in no way makes his impact great. kudos for finding ways to contribute but that won't be nearly enough to last in this series. And thats well below what a all star pg should be doing. hes actually fortunate van fleet is saving him

    They have a better roster

Kawhi, Siakam, Green, OG gives them multiple perimeter defenders

Also have more sand in the pants w Gasol and Ibaka. Looney isn’t eating in this series
