That guy sounds like a guy I could trust to make a decision on these pardons. I'm pretty confident Trump's thought process is not at all like what he's describing. Just the fact that Trump wants the pardon ready to go by Memorial Day tells you he's motivated by the political currency he thinks he'll get from it and not by what justice demands.
3 members of Navy SEAL Chief Eddie Gallagher's defense team have close ties to Trump https://taskandpurpose.com/navy-sea...now-includes-president-trumps-personal-lawyer

Has the Trump Admin already started photoshopping pics of Tillerson, Mattis, etc... out of official photos?
Chip Roy blocks/delays a bi-partisan disaster-relief bill that Cornyn was trying to get done and that Trump was willing to sign because he wants debate and process it since they’re spending $19B. He’s trying to portray himself as a cost conscious guy, but the real reason he wants to delay it is because he wants to add $4B of wall spending onto it. Bill isn’t dead, but now the funding won’t be ready by June 1st when hurricane season starts with Congress out to recess. https://www.statesman.com/news/20190524/chip-roy-single-handedly-blocks-disaster-relief Roy is a former chief of staff to U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, who voted for the bill on Thursday. By objecting, Roy delayed the bill being approved until the first week of June when lawmakers return from the Memorial Day recess. The bill has $19 billion in relief for communities affected by disasters, including $900 million for hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico — funding that had been a sticking point for President Donald Trump before the president agreed to it this week and tweeted that he would sign the bill. The $4 billion in funding for Texas had already been approved in 2018 but had not been distributed due to a holdup on the regulations and guidelines for the funding by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Office of Management and Budget. In the Senate, Cornyn authored a provision that would require the government to release the funds within 90 days of the bill being signed. Anticipating House approval, Cornyn on Friday morning released a statement that said, “Hurricane season is a week away, and Texans still have not received the resources Congress and HUD approved after Harvey. With the latest disaster bill approved, the time for excuses is over. The acting director (of the Office of Management and Budget) must release these funds which Texans desperately need to rebuild as soon as possible.”
So we are increasing our military presence in the region because things are better with Iran? I used to think you had to be high to be that delusional.
such pettiness of an insecure child ! Trump Ordered USS John McCain Out of Sight Ahead of His Recent Visit to Japan Trump wanted the U.S. Navy to move “out of sight” a warship named for the late Sen. John McCain, a war hero who became a frequent target of President Trump’s ire, ahead of his visit to Japan last week, according to an email reviewed by the Wall Street Journal. “A tarp was hung over the ship’s name ahead of the president’s trip… and sailors were directed to remove any coverings from the ship that bore its name. After the tarp was taken down, a barge was moved closer to the ship, obscuring its name. Sailors on the ship, who typically wear caps bearing its name, were given the day off during Mr. Trump’s visit.” https://politicalwire.com/2019/05/29/white-house-ordered-uss-john-mccain-moved/
