Just like not all MVPs are created alike, not all FMVPs are created alike, either. Obviously Kawhi is head and shoulders above Iguodala.

You can just as easily argue that Kawhi had to carry a lot of weight. Lowry was inconsistent throughout the playoffs up until the latter half of the MIL series. Danny Green was detrimental on the offensive side of the ball in the MIL series and Gasol was terrible to start.

Point is, it's like you're saying Kawhi lucked into a title + FMVP, or that he lucked into making the Finals this year, which is absolutely not the case. You're not giving Kawhi enough credit, imo.

Is Harden a better player? Maybe. It's debatable. But it's a weird flex to be bringing up Harden at this juncture, and in this thread, unprovoked.

I have started rethinking the possibility that the Raptors could win. I was surprised to learn that they have home court. Also, they won both games with GS during the regular season. Hmmm? Leonard is having a Jordan-like playoff. The Raptors have size, shooters, and match up well. The series might be more interesting than first thought.

Lol, idk if Zboy is trolling or not but it's pretty hilarious. But anyway, if KD plays, then I want Toronto to win obviously. **** the Warriors. If KD is out, then I want GS to win ONLY because it'd reinforce how much of a complete b**** KD is. I want him to feel as self conscious as possible about the Warriors not needing him.

Warriors in 5 or 6 tho.

This is going to be a sweep...at most 5 games. The speed at which GS comes at you in the playoffs is nutty. Raptors won’t be ready for it. Rockets are the only team in the world capable of even keeping pace.

If the Warriors bench shows up and plays as well as they did in Game 6 in Houston and in the Portland series, it'll be a 4-5 game series. If their bench goes back to being a pumpkin, Durant doesn't return and the Warriors are 5-6 deep (6 if Cousins returns), it'll be a very difficult series for Golden State and either team could win.

I never said he lucked into anything
I simply said he WAS NOT THE #1 OPTION . . .and he was not.

Some of you are really underestimating Toronto. There's no reason why they'd have less success against the Warriors than the Rockets. Especially given the HCA.

I see the raptors winning game 1 without KD, especially when GS has been off for about 9 days. that's a ton of time to not play in real gametime which can't be duplicated. KD looks to be back game 2 sunday.

hca isn't much of an issue when GS likely won't be losing both games at toronto to start the series

American mercenaries working for Canada have to be stopped from going to the White House.

    Go Warriors.

    Go USA.

FVV is 14 for 17 on his threes in the last three games.

If that continues - extremely unlikely - the Raptors have a good chance.

    Won't continue though...

It won't continue. But I also don't see Danny Green shooting < 20% from three continuing either

Logic says Warriors in 5. But i'll be generous and say Warriors in 6.
