I think the inability/unwillingness to work together is a symptom of a governance illness. We're definitely a healthier country when representatives in opposing parties can negotiate agreements on issues on which they do not see eye to eye. But the only rules are the ones written out in the Constitution. By the same token, there is no "supposed to" for Trump to sign the funding bill to end the shutdown either. Let them fight until one side or the other can't take it anymore.

How do you define scam? Cause it looks like exactly what he said he would do...build a portion of a wall with the funds given. As far as 'great progress', what were your expectations for a project that has about 6 months since inception and earned 22 million? I'm actually surprised he's gotten that much done that quickly given the push back he is continuing to get from those dead set against the idea.
