Well, it's certainly improvement. And on such an injury weakened team, they may choose to stick a guy that has extensive big league experience making some improvement vs. bringing up a plethora of rookies. There's actually more room to experiment with those rookies when your team is healthier. My statement was accounting for the current state of the team.

Fisher with a triple! I remember when he had 2 triples early last season.

    Fisher! Wooooooooo!....*watches his slide into 3rd base*....*barfs*

Sprained my ankle sliding like into second in high school. We don't need more injuries.

Almora is no Jake Marisnick. Fisher drilled that ball.

Cole bringing the heat knowing it’s probably his last hitter. Great job!

As someone who's mostly played 3rd and SS, I'd definitely call that error simply because he tipped it away from Bregman. However, it's also one of those completely in-between plays. If the third basemen can get to a grounder, they're generally supposed to take it, because they have the momentum towards first. If either of those guys grabs the ball, though, I doubt they get the out at first anyway, because it was so softly hit. The bad part is that it cost a base. Smart running by the baserunner, incidentally.

Cole’s FIP coming into this outing was more than a run lower than his ERA. 3.01 is a little higher than last year’s FIP of 2.70. Despite a couple of really bad outings he’s been very very good. Today is just further proof of that.

I havent looked at the stats or game logs but it seems just about every game I'm watching, Pressley is pitching. He has been pitching amazingly so I get why but us workload going to be a problem?
