4 on 4 is an advantage to the offense. But neutralizing the best offensive player in the game? That's a win for the defense. We have too many role players and not enough hoopers to beat the best teams with Harden on snooze.

Harden is gonna he 30 there is really no improving only thing you can hope for is a dirk/Hakeem Like run in the next 2-3 yrs since that’s about how much time he has left of really good play

Good points. And also the older Harden gets the more he understands *The Principles of Motion Economy.* Understanding what he has to do to keep himself fresh. The pace of the game, staying motionless on the bench. All that stuff. These are things LeBron learned through the years as well. It is playing *the long game.*

People can b!tch about it, but there are real reasons.

Good grief. I don't buy this at all. Harden has proven repeatedly that he'll adapt to whatever his coach wants him to do. He's gonna be 30? Good heavens!

    So what.

It's simple, he's selfish. Y'all like throwing out excuses that he's tired or fatigued. But if he played 45 mins & had one more assist to get a 60pt quadruple double, his azz would be running all over the place to get the ball. Yet he's too tired to jog to a spot on the court? Man y'all do this every year. Trade James Harden & give me somebody that wants to win & never quits

It's just like his ability to play defense. He very well can play defense if he chooses to.

He’s disinterested off the ball... James is great.. but he has flaws. The fact that y’all refuse to acknowledge any of em exist like we don’t have two eyes is just funny

Basically.... no ones saying he CANT play off the ball. But to act as if what all of us that objective see on a regular basis is just bs is funny

Would be interested to see what data is out there that allow us to measure Harden's off-ball activity relative to other players. He can be much better in that respect.

That's Harden on a VERY STACKED OKC team. No team he's played on in Houston could beat that team.

I swear, if he was not that potent on Offense or half as potent on Offense,
more ppl would criticize him, now he sits on the Throne of Untouchability with most of the guys here.

He earned some of it but not everything.
