Not sure about blessed. They have had the luxury to out spend their competition and buy championships.
I don’t know who the best team is but the Astros are in a group at the top that will all clearly make the playoffs. Once the playoffs start it’s wide open for anybody. Same thing every year, just need to get some guys hot at the right time. You need a lot of talent to make the playoffs but once there it’s just as much about timing and luck.
I agree with a lot of this. With the Yankees, it's very hard to tell what type of team they are. Their schedule has been huge for them but the flip side is they have to play Boston i believe like 17 more games. The Rangers and the A's are over .500 and Boston is looking better. The Twins look very good. At the end of the day, i think most of us agree Houston is in a great position to win this year. Health is obviously going to be key here. I do think they'll have to make a trade for at least a starting pitcher and possibly a bat. They can't go into the playoffs with White as their DH. They need another bat whether it's internal or they trade for one. The trading deadline could be very active if that second wild card is as open as it is now and that can hurt when it comes to trades.
