If they are applying for asylum and the system is overcrowded its not unconstitutional. They aren't citizens yet, not saying they dont have rights but they are under constraint.

Again i actually don't agree with Trump but he ran on being tougher and this is very reasonable. They just walked in here and are waiting to be processed and it takes time.

 

Where in the constitution does it make provisions if it's overcrowded?

You realize that the courts did order the separation of families to stop don't you? The problem is that the Trump administration has ignored the courts and continued to break apart the families.

That argument has no merit. If you were going to open a bank account but once you got there, you decided to try and rob the bank then you would be doing something illegal.

We know that the asylum seekers usually return for their hearings anyway. When they are given monitoring devices and social workers their rate of showing up for their hearing is even higher.
