Always a sad sad time supporting an underachieving team. Difference between us and the trash heap clippers

I gave you a comparable HOFer to Blake.

    Simple as that.

Yeah, and how did that turn out?

1-6 good game from CP, a max player. One year older next year. Sadly, it's downhill from here onward.

I don't understand why CP isn't the one bringing the ball up. Let him initiate the PnR, probe for an open 3 or his elbow shot...if not, no biggie, dish it off to the best ISO player ever and let him work the last 10 seconds of the clock. Just have to have a team willingness to actually get down the court instead of all that walking and waiting. What could it hurt? They might literally score 10+ possessions in a row on a regular basis doing that.

    it does.

When your max player has one good game out of 6, he is a big part of reason we lost the series, and it is going to get worse given his health and age.

    It is very concerning.

This is an incredibly massive reach. Not to mention that Dwight Howard and Chris Paul have both been in the rumor mill for multiple teammate issues prior to being with the Rockets. So to fan this kind of thing towards Harden to further rile up his haters is just plain shitty.

Paul and Harden have had a great relationship. Great relationships get into arguments too.

rockets -8 has zero to do with it. and harden not being able to close out games is a big part of the reason houston lost as well

Because Harden doesn't do anything if he doesn't have the ball. We can debate whether this is Harden's problem or MDA's problem. But that is a fact.

I am curious as to why you would so much emphasis on sport betters and their odds?

Clearly folks forgot that Warriors team of Curry-Klay-Green-Iggy had won championship and 73 wins before Durant was there, and it has shown since. They havent lost a game since then.

So, how exactly do the Rockets get favored over that champion core??

Harden needs to definitely cut more when Chris has the ball.

the same reason people care so much about being "favored" and yes thats constantly being brought up around here. so wait when the rockets are exactly favored by a significant number of points it isn't releveant? ok. yeah that makes sense

its hilarious how the logic changes from one thing to another with the snap of the fingers. but its typical to be inconsistent around here

the rockets were favored in both game 3 and 4 with KD. So how exactly did that happen?

Don't forget it's not the NBA Hall of Fame or even the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame.

Griffin led his team to 4 consecutive state titles in high school, and in college racked up these awards:

    All-Big 12 1st Team (twice)
Big 12 Player of the Year
    Consensus All-America - 1st Team
    AP Player of the Year
    NABC Player of the Year
Sporting News Player of the Year
    USBWA Player of the Year
    Naismith Award
    Rupp Trophy
    Wooden Award

He was also NBA Rookie of the Year.

Not saying he's going to get in, but another 3-4 years of solid play gives him a legit shot.

But I just told you why they were wrong and what they had overlooked.

I expect people that actually follow the sports and the teams, and their history, to be more knowledgeable than that,

...Dwight...Hall of Fame, sure, ... Sure? I'm Shirley not so sure.

...Although I do wish Harden would quit some of the dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble ...
    Oh, yeah. For SURE!

I have assumed it's a TF/MDA 'thingy' that did in the exit interviews?

Chris Paul is a very outspoken person. He is so outspoken and critical that some of his teammates in the past could not handle it.

James Harden behind closed doors can be very direct and doesn't care if someone gets their feelings hurt.

The Rockets lost a series that they had been waiting two years to win... at home when they had a shot to win a title.

Both Harden and Paul are extremely competitive.

I am not at all shocked they had heated arguments after game 6.

It isn't the first time either, and likely not the last.

I am not that concerned - they have had heated arguments in the past and still have been close.

I'm sure this is big news but I am not concerned honestly.
