game 6 against SA, and especially game 7 against GS last year were far worse emotionally speaking...this loss was disappointing, but whatever, I’m gonna have a great day today and will watch the game 7s tomorrow...I want Philly and Denver to win..if Milwaukee makes it to the finals, I will root for them hard against GS Reeko could use some samosas tho...
If you live around clear lake, it’s like Chernobyl here because of a stupid barge wreck. Rockets lost now the world is trying to kill me.
Trying to go keto but I really, really wanted to eat a bunch of **** to get over the abomination that was game 6. I comprised and just ate some **** instead of a bunch of ****.
Jeebus, you made me look this up. It's awful. https://www.click2houston.com/news/...assive-chemical-spill-in-houston-ship-channel Just another day in my homeland.
My sister the romance writer lives in League City (ain’t it romantic?) and I accidentally ran across the news. The headline said, “barge spill!” and didn’t even use the word “channel,” which would have given me a clue. I clicked on it anyway, and immediately call Sis. Turned out the wind was blowing towards LC and Clear Lake, and while it wasn’t too terrible when her AC was off, it quickly became terrible with it on. I suggested staying with a friend or relative out of the “zone of stink,” or even drive to Austin to stay with us, but being stubborn (she always has been), she said she’d stay where she was. So I guess you could say she stinks! Hope everyone here who lives in the area stays OK. Don’t know about the rest of you, but I developed a pretty bad allergic reaction to chemicals, one of many reasons we moved to Austin. Reason #1 is that it was still “far out!” in1980 when we packed up and split for the Hill Country. #2 is political, so I won’t go there! Since it’s Mother Day, here’s a little more to suffer through. I’d been going up to Austin several times a year since the 1960’s for the music, the lakes, the hills, and other reasons, and continued to after meeting the wonderful chick that eventually became (sorry for using the tired phrase, but it fits) the mother of our children. “Happy Mother’s Day, Sweetie!” We waited as long as possible to have kids, and nearly decided against it. She had the second, and last, at age 41. Thank god, I’m older than her. Otherwise, it might have been a bit dicey. Not for me, of course, but for her. The reason we waited so long? We were having so much fun that we didn’t want to interrupt it. Have no regrets and they’re amazing, but talk about a lifestyle changer! For all the mothers (and fathers) out there who are members, best wishes and I’ll raise a cold one to you all. Cheers!
I’ve had a funny taste in my mouth, been a little light headed, and had a crazy itchy sphincter the last 2 days. Hope I don’t die
I’m in that boat. 29, but for the first time in my life making good money. Don’t want a pooper to ruin my fun.
Kid #2's birthday Saturday, Mother's Day yesterday. We didn't eat great but it was expected. Back to grilled chicken today.
I was lucky enough to have a gig Friday night, so I didn't have to watch the game. The TV was on at the other side of the room we played, and I could vaguely see Curry high-fiving people at around 11 or so. Then the TV was abruptly turned off. Checked the score on my phone during our break and wasn't surprised at all. Went home and destroyed a box of thin mints from the freezer.
