Yall still don't understand. Without a system, James is asked to be the head coach on the floor. That's just too much. There is no play designed for him. We don't even pick and roll using him much coz the other teams figured it out. He needs to be put in a position to be successful and also be accountable for what he does. He is right now like a spoiled child that can do whatever he wants to do. But that's more on the coaching.
#1 priority is to find a wing that can play D, help rebound, and can create his own offense. All of our current wings are one trick ponies, spot up avg shooters. Find a backup for Clint that will push him for minutes. Some young bouncy hungry guy. It took Jordan a few years to get past Boston and Detroit so maybe James just gotta go through it. Not a good look though for him.
This is the most predictable offense I’ve ever seen the Rockets play. It works a lot of the time, but it gets very stagnant and dysfunctional when there’s pressure to win a big game.
That Jordan and bad boy feud gets thrown around a lot, but man do you see any fire/heart/competitiveness/killer instinct from ... our main man, ... a better comparison may be Dirk.
Change the culture. Change the system. Mike Dantoni, James Harden, and Chris Paul can't handle pressure. That is a fact. We need a real leader/alpha on this team. That may be either a coach or a player. Someone on this team has to have some nuts. Someone has to have a killer instinct on this team if we are ever going to take the next step.
