They aren’t that same team as then.....and they only won because kyrie was injured but that’s not the point. There is no excuse here. James was very efficient scoring even with KD out there. He should be able to continue that no problem. EGO has earned some trust with how well he has played for months now. Cp3, Clint, and one of Austin, Iman, House, Green need to step the fukk up game 6. I don’t want to hear anything about b-b-b- but Steph and klay are stars. Gtfo. Take care of business!

Harrison Barnes was a member of the Death Lineup.
He was a starter...shooting 40% from 3, scoring 11ppg over those two years.
Iggy would replace Bogut to make the Death Lineup.

Bogut and Iggy weren't 34 yrs old.

I think this was going through all of our minds with about 3 minutes left in last night's game.

    He's wrong! ;)

    Houston still the underdog
Houston still trails 3-2 and needs to win 2 games (to their one)
    Warriors are still really good
Warriors still have 3 all-stars to Houston's one.

Started with 5 all-stars but still have 3 + Finals MVP and all the sudden they're chopped liver now (and can't win a game)? Nah.

Until you tell them Jordan couldn't even make it out the east in '95 and we swept the EC champs.

Media is doing everything it can to frame the 73-9 Warriors as underdogs in this series. It's incredible.

The way cp0 is playing and how curry and Klay got hot I doubt we can win. That team is still loaded. It’s one superstar against curry (superstar) Thompson (all star) and Green (all star)

Yep trade Clint and few picks to Boston for Jaylen brown and Morris. All brown needs is an opportunity to explode

    Paul
    Harden
    Brown
    Morris
    ?

Then bring back Eric off the bench. Jaylen are Morris will give us shooting and athletes who can run the floor and play elite defense

Yup, Durant was brought in as security against Lebron, but theres no support that they're actually better with him. They're bballability is lightyears beyond Rockets, and our gimmicky Moneyball w/ a star like Harden are the only reasons it's even close.

I expect it to be just as difficult, if not moreso, because Steph/Klay/Green destroyed us 4 and 5 seasons ago, and while were better now.... Paul hasn't stepped up, Gordon is inconsistent, and Capela is a series no-show.

It can't just be Harden and Tucker.

    C'mon man.

If Rox can't beat GSW without Cousins and Kd why are they even trying to contend? Yes they were world champions but a lot has changed since then, they have no bench now, Donkey has regressed and Curry is banged up. Not only that all the starters have been playing 40+ mins since Game 1.

All the chips are in Rox favor if they can't win now then they're never gonna beat GSW.

Can we please roll back the video of time and have Eric Gordon hit one of those 3's he missed in our final game, so that we're meeting GSW in the next round instead of this one, and can start the series with their no-KD lineup having to win 4 games instead of 1.

steve got a good point, rockets are gonna have to double team curry. Gordon and Paul are gonna have to play 2 insane games of there life, and harden gonna have to be harden. Its just that simple. If not no finals.

Yeah but I hate to say it but but but James Harden I just can’t count on him in big games he might show off in game 6 and if we make it to game 7 he act like he doesn’t care??? Be timid Be Halfway playing defense or wait until the game is all of reach and then give a 110%. I love James but sometimes I just don’t know what to say about that dude.

He's right, the Rockets would have no excuse at all if they lose this series now.

And to be honest, that makes the Warriors even more dangerous. They know they have nothing to lose at this point. That's when teams play at their best... when there is no fear.
