He's a off the bench type of player that will give you some energy, block a few shots, grab some boards but he defintely isn't starting Center material. He's way to timid, thin and soft.
He isn't a starter in this particular series for sure. He has a lot of weaknesses and good teams prey on them in a 7 game series. When he gets the ball he has no moves to get around or over a guard, and no touch to lay it up or finger roll.
He's a great starter against about 90% of the league. He's just too scared of Draymond to play strong. He throws up these quick lay ups as if someone is about to punch him in the face
Certainly not against the Warriors small ball. With looney now as a probable starter he might fare better
Agreed with both of these. I'd like to see a heavy dose of a Harden/CP3 PnR when Draymond isn't in the game. Draymond is smart enough and defensively good enough to contest both a Harden floater or a lob to Capela.
He’s starter material, just not against the warriors, and it has little to do with the warriors. If the rockets make it past the warriors and get to play Denver in the WCF then Jokic is gonna see how much starter material he is.
He literally averaged 17 points and 13 rebounds this season. The fact that he struggles against Draymond Green does not invalidate the entire year of proof that he's an above average starting center.
