What a dumb take by ESPN. Cousins would be absolutely abused in p&r. I guess they have to find an excuse for champions...

If they played Boogie or Bogut extended minutes, then Clint would have a field day sprinting full court and getting easy fast break opportunities.

Nah they are right. Just watch the last regular season game vs GSW and tell me how "ineffective" Cousins is.

If Boogie is there then say good bye to all those rebs, with Capela playing like trash games 1-4 I highly doubt Rox win any games. Boogie gives them a low post scoring option, if Klay and Steph are off they go to Boogie in the post and who the hell can stop him from scoring?

I said it was a blessing Cousins got injured, he was really big for them before he got hurt.

I know Boogie had a good game against the Rockets in the last matchup with the Dubs, but I believe it would actually benefit the Rockets.

Capela is not nearly as effective so far as he can be. I think if Capela matched up with Boogie he would be more of a factor. I think the lob game would be more effective and also believe CC would run Boogie to death.

IF they played Boogie more, then we would get to play Capela more.

But does Capela play like trash if he's up against a more traditional big man? Maybe not.

You know who would make a really huge difference in this series though? MCW.

Everyone will have knee jerk reactions to each win/loss going forward in this series.

We are both literally deadlocked at 0-0 now, with the Warriors holding homecourt advantage. This next game will be a must win if we hope to knock these fu**ers out. Regardless I expect a hard fought game.

Funny thing is, Cousins was never really a factor or real part of this team.
He jumped on the bandwagon but was rehabbing most of the season.. . .
then came on for a handful of games and went down again.

These guys are acting like Warriors are not their 'full team' without Cousins.
They still have their regular team intact. NO excuses.

No backup to the big man. So Anthony Davis should fill in nicely for that right?

They'll need another scorer from the bench since they don't have enough fire power.

Probably should trade for Lou Williams over the summer.

You're right. Forgot about that. Need a couple at the end of the bench to finish out the roster. You know. Couple of vet min guys. Schlubs like Kemba Walker will be a free agent. Al Horford too. Done. That team has a chance to make the playoffs.

I know Cousins has had success with them against the Rockets but i think Capela was good this season against them before the injury

I think they can take advantage of Cousin's defense

What do you mean maybe not? Dude was SICK game 1-3, you think he will magically be healthy just cuz Cousins was matching up against him? OTH Cousins would have killed our frontcourt, highly doubt Tucker can get all those offensive boards with Capela playing like trash and Cousins being a 7'1 rebounder.

You can bury your head in the sand all you want but the reality is if Cousins was healthy GSW would've gone 3-0 if he was healtju and playing.

    Clint was sick game 1-3:

    Gm 1: 4 pts 6 rebs
    Gm 2: 14 pts 10 rebs (but -17)
    Gm 3: 13 pts 11 rebs (but -7)

His stats are pretty low considering Draymond Green and KD were guarding him through out the game, 1 dude is 6 inches shorter and the other is 20 pounds lighter than him. If Clint was already struggling against these guys due to his sickness how is he gonna handle Cousins?

His name has been changed to LTS (Lux Tax Savings). I agree that LTS will make a huge difference.

At the risk of repeating myself Capela played well against Cousins during the regular season.

Green is a bad matchup for him. Cousins definitely isn't the defender Green is and he is gonna play low. Part of the issue for Capela on defense this series is he is caught on the perimeter and out of rebounding position

Kellerman "The Warriors just keep having bad luck. It is unprecedented. We can't let this dynasty be sidetracked by injuries. Silver needs to immediately rescind the salary cap for the Warriors. Trade Gianni's and LeBron to the Warriors immediately for a 2nd round draft pick!"

Boogie would have been a mess this series. He would not have gotten many minutes, would have been poor on defensive assignments, and probably would have given us a tech or two, and perhaps contributed to internal dissension. The Warriors are lucky they dont have to deal with that and Greenberg is an idiot for thinking otherwise.

Oh, trust me, if the Rockets win this series, there will be excuses aplenty. And every uttered excuse will be followed by the phrase, "...but no excuses."

"We didn't have our key guy Boogie, but no excuses."
"Steph's dislocated finger was bothering him all series, but no excuses."
"Klay was limping in ever game and could barely walk to the bathroom, but no excuses."
"Iggy was injured and couldn't play. I know that was in last year's playoffs, but still. No excuses, though."
"KD was distracted with his home-shopping in Manhattan, but no excuses."

Get ready for it. It is coming. We are all headed to Excuseville.

Boogie Cousins couldn’t even wash James Harden’s jockstrap right now
