McHugh slowly proving he doesn’t belong in the rotation. He’s been BAAAAAD lately.

 

That pretty much sucked.

I have now lost confidence in McHugh. I thought he could get back on track against this **** team at Minute Maid.

 

McHugh and Peacock are two duds in the starting rotation right now.

 

I wonder what the biggest deficit the Stros have overcome this season.

 

Wow. Colon McHugh is not the answer for number 3 or 4. Hell spot starter at best. Getting destroyed by the royals? Yea. Ok. So when does Whitley get here? Think Dallas would take our call? 2 southpaws in our rotation. I am good with that.

I wonder if McHughs confidence took a hit going to the pen last year

Mentioned several times in the series threads and even in the Keuchel thread, McHugh shouldn't be in the rotation at this point. Peacock is trending in the same direction, this needs to be solved sooner rather than later.

 

Geez Colin is absolute trash. Yank him right now. Singlehandedly blowing this game.

McHugh and Peacock haven't even given the team a good chance lately with their starts.

 

Just saying I don’t recall any large comebacks so yeah I agree it’s over. Prove me wrong Astros!

 

Way to stop the bleeding Devo. It’s time to bring up some guys from minors and just see what they got.

 

Somebody tell Kalas we’re down by 8 no need to get overly exuberant on a routine fly ball.

 

Disappointing to see McHugh getting drilled so often lately... when he’s on he has great stuff but your #3 guy can’t routinely give up crooked numbers, especially to teams like the royals.

And at what point do we walk away from Devo entirely? He’s not even a mediocre reliever at this point. Better off calling up someone from the farm.

Gotta assume Lunhow is looking pretty hard for a TOR pitcher and at least one decent reliever.

Oh hey look Tyler looked at 2 fastballs right down the middle and struck out looking AGAIN... get him the f*** outta here while you’re at it, Lunhow.

 

2 major rotation concerns and two position players who absolutely do not belong. McHugh and Peacock have been serious liabilities. White and Stassi are awful and if they weren’t out of options would already be in AAA.

 

McHugh needs to be in the pen. He needs the 93-94 mph fastball to be effective. He can't do that when starting but can throw hard for one or 2 innings max.

 

If jake is running outta the box instead of admiring his ball, he has a triple easily. Gotta settle for a double. What a tool
