Very solid read and here some highlights:

I agree with all points, Harden is looking much less for calls and drove with determination and shot the 3 just how he wanted to shoot it. Getting some key mid-range shots from Shump, Harden, but also CP3 is very important as we all saw what happened in the 4th when we kept relying on threes. Need more of that. And effort and heart, well, that's Clutch City baby!

Regarding mid-range shots, it's not like the Rockets will get two points whenever they need one made. It's still math. But when the opponents are glued to the 3-point line and the paint, I believe wide-open mid-range shots could actually get you pretty solid True-shoot rates.

Did you notice it wasn't just harden, CP3, PJ and almost everyone else was not arguing calls. Of coarse EG complained as per normal and also Rivers a few times on so-so calls in the 3rd. Team or coach must of decided to just play the game.

I've been very critical before of this Rockets team not playing with heart but in this series they are definitely showing it. Harden is willing to get what JVG calls "grimy points", the Rockets are flying around on D, they are getting tough O rebounds and does anyone either team have a bigger heart right now than PJ Tucker!

Thank you! Finally a writer that appears to have watched the whole game. Indeed, we were in that dry spell before Stump hit that 15ft shot. That was followed by a Harden 3 and 2. Just like that back to a 9-point lead and a bit of breathing room.

Like the writer said, with minimal margin of errors in the playoffs, you need to score in a multiple of ways and however you can get.

Nice read. They are definitely playing with heart. They are getting key buckets down the stretch. They aren’t trying to force the ball to Capela anymore either.

It’s also nice to see them take the higher percentage shots when the game is on the line. They started bricking 3’s at the end but stopped. I think they have moved beyond that. The article does a good job of explaining why you should take the best shot available to stop the bleeding and keep momentum on your side. Keep the scoreboard moving. Many of us have been calling for that change and it was nice to see it play out.

We are playing with heart. We are playing as good as we can possibly play.

For some reason, when we hopefully win this series (tall order, I know), I picture whomever interviewing James Harden after the game, and he can turn to Media Row or whatever they call it: "Not to sound childish, but to all you Golden State jock-sniffers in the media---especially Russillo, and Chris 'Multiple Click-Bait Sauces' Broussard---I just wanted to say, Sorry....not sorry."

Right on. I can't praise PJ enough in this series. Love the fact that the announcers are recognizing him and calling out his incredible effort and D as well.

I don't usually buy jerseys. I had an OT #33 which I grew out of, and I have an Altuve. But I will definitely purchase a PJ Tucker jersey and wear that son of a b**** with pride, baby.

The Warriors' lack of depth is a huge issue for them. It has shown in the fourth quarter with all the easy misses on their part. They are flat out gassed. Also we need to stick to the strategy of forcing Durant to iso. Doing so will tire him out by the 4th and keep the splash bro's out of rhythm. We already know Steve Kerr doesn't trust his bench...

Right? Usually when they use it with us, it's like: "The Rockets' ugly style is stabbing basketball in the heart."

I bet even don maclean would concede that PJ Tucker plays the game "the right way".

Exactly...now the worm has turned and the Warriors are experiencing what the Rockets dealt with in last years WCF. Hopefully the quick turnaround will give us an advantage at the Oracle on Wednesday.

Return of Clutch City. You know that the Warriors are just a tad frantic right now. They have been physically man handled, and they don't like it one bit. They are likely to come out firing rockets in game five. When you press, you usually miss which is what I am counting on.

    Absolutely.

Absolutely not. We can play FAR better, especially offensively. But that won't be easy against a defense this good.

    That's not Jimmy man.

He rolls by wearing the flashiest ugliest(?) swag when he wins big. Then the **** eating media will eat it up enthusiastically.

Great find, JW86! It’s always good to get a variety of opinions from the media, something sorely missing far too often. I’m not familiar with Brad Botkin, but he needs to write more about the series and when we advance. A lot more.
