Not saying you're doing this but I feel some commit this fallacy - You're complaining about a Rocket's player or coach therefore you're not a TRUE Rocket's fan. IMO that is SO unbelievably ridiculous. BECAUSE I am such a Rocket's fan I complain when I feel, IMO, things are happening that prevent us from winning. At times I will complain about Harden's sloppy passes, our style of play or coaching b/c I feel those things at that point-in-time are making it less likely for THIS version (current crop of players and coaches) of the Rockets to win.

 

Here are the two reason why we might not win this series:

1. THE REF's we can't touch KEVIN DURANT and they won't call fouls when James Harden it getting fouled.
2.JAMES HARDEN dribbling the air out the ball.. NO COACHING ADJUSTEMENTS

 

For me, always be positive. Complaining is good, but some of us here take it way too far and too seriously. There are more important things of life than winning games. Like a marriage, there are ups and downs, it is not perfect.

 

I’ve got my own critical thread but I still believe we have a chance to win. GSW is a perhaps the most talented team since 1986 Celtics and maybe even better but I don’t think the gap is that large.

As i stated in my bad habits thread to me this comes down to wasted possessions. We can’t be running out the clock without at least a good shot. We can’t be making dumb mistakes or counting on the refs to bail us out. We can beat GSW but that means getting better and not falling into habits.
