Could you point out other examples? I really can't remember a time that Harden has truly exaggerated an injury. What exactly makes you think this was exaggerated? Was it because of the way he was grimacing and his funky facial expressions throughout the game once he returned, or are you referring to the initial hit and him staying down on the floor? I'm seriously curious, because I've never thought to myself, James is really being dramatic about this.
wasn't it reported his cornea wasn't damaged? I'm sure it hurts and is annoying, but claiming he could barely see while playing? Surely that's an exaggeration now. If not, maybe sight for Harden is overrated, as that was one of the best shooting games he's ever had in the postseason.
My buddy just rode the elevator with Harden at the TC. He said his eyes look really rough in person, but James said he is good to go for game 3. Take it for what it's worth.
Have you ever been poked in the eye to that extent? I would love to see how you would react to it. When has Harden "faked" an injury? Last week we had reports of his hand iced up in during practice and all he said was "it's nothing". So that one example already disproves you.
Where is the other narrative, that anything with Draymond and his history especially against a superstar shouldn’t be automatically be considered unintentional. It is espically questionable that Harden was bleeding from both eyes, that seems more on the intentional side to me espically considering last year series, where Draymond fouled Harden above the chest and other Draymond antics on other players such as kicking. Why isn’t this discussed more by our fans and media (I don’t care much for them) than Harden crying wolf? Why not call out this p***y of a wolf than call out our superstar who we know for certain plays through injuries even though he shouldn’t especially in the regular season. I am very dissapointed in fans here like yourself, because I actually respected you at some point during the T-Mac era with your videos.
Report was Curry has been playing with blurry vision his whole career until recently. Maybe vision is overrated.
Yes, had a scratched cornea - it sucked, needed eye drops to numb the irritation while it healed and the drops exaggerated the redness quite a bit. Also have cut my eyelid in the same manner - but everyone is different and I would bet Draymond doesn't cut his nails so he can use them as a weapon, he is that kind of a player. DD
It is ok to have a difference of opinion around here - people take criticism as some sort of hatred, too ****ing sensitive - but for me, it is about expectations, I expect HARDEN to lead this team like Hakeem did - ...... As an all time great - I want him to be that level all the time and I think the drama he creates and the theatrics take away from his greatness - or perception of greatness. But I am old school - not this emo new stuff going around - so, I understand not everyone agrees, or cares - and that is fine with me - still going to say my thoughts....without worrying about how they are perceived. That is what being a fan is all about talking to each other, respectfully and sharing opinions - once we get away from that, we end up like Congress.....and that sucks.... We are all fans here......so respect everyone's opinion - and right to have a viewpoint different than yours. To me, being a fan doesn't mean they can't do anything wrong.....this is more a matter of expectations - then fandom. And for the record, already admitted I was wrong, that it was worse than I thought......initially. DD
He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share His key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere But first he was stripped and then he was stabbed By faceless men, well, £uckers He still stands - Pearl Jam
Nba should have a no sharp / rough nail edge policy. It’s amazing there aren’t more eye injuries with all the poking and swiping at the ball.
Yeah, well...I guess I need to lower my expectations of you. I also have very high expectations of Harden just like Dream (who is 1 of 3 people who I looked up to growing up), since Harden has joined the Rockets I thought he was good but never the one to get us over the hump. Over the years since his time here, I have changed my opinion of him and moreso, in the last 2-3 years. He is more than capable and also willing now to lead us to a championship. In this social media and digital age and number of false narratives, biases, and hatred on Harden, propagating opinions such as yours, especially after Game 1 and even worse Game 2 on a Houston Rocket fan site, doesn’t make sense to me. There are more Harden negatives here, than the opinions of why is Draymond not taking heat after Game 1 issues, when both eyes were red. One eye can be seen as accidental, how do you explain fingers hitting both Harden’s eye? Where was the damn foul on that, intentional or accidental? I don’t buy this crap and neither should any Rocket fan and especially calling Harden soft or crying wolf.
I'll try to live my life with that burden you are placing on me. And yes, I agree about Draymond - I just think that guy does dirty crap all the time and tries to make it accidental - hell "Not Cutting" your fingernails is dirty. Draymond is someone that Calvin Murphy would have laid out back in the day, I wish we had a Ron Artest to put him on his ass. DD
Mad Max would do the job also. For his skinny frame, he could and probably would stand up to Shaq. I love Tucker but he’s more of a Battier, I agree with you we need Artest and Mad Max type of players to take it to Draymond type of players and put golden boy Curry’s skinny bones on the floor.
warriors cheat is to hurt the players make them unable to play rather than draw a foul. They look clever
