Exactly. I mean, it was an accident that he just happened to rake the eyes of the MVP basically in the two cases he's done it, to Harden and Lebron? It defies logic. At the very least, he allows himself to be more reckless and dangerous near critical opposing players. There's too much proof for that. Harden is receiving far too little credit for his gut check performance and coming back the way he did with bleeding eyes in game 2.
For me he got poked in the left eye, and that is the source of the irritation. The red when he came out to the court was most likely eye drops to numb the feeling of a scratched eye. Do I think he exaggerates a lot, Lol yes he does. Does it make it harder to know when he is truly injured, yep. Harden is Crying wolf so much you never know when there really is one. I was wrong on this instance the Eyes have it. DD
I feel like getting poked in the eye by dirty ass Draymond is an automatic eye infection major props to Harden for still balling out after getting his eyes damaged like that
I dont get the harden faking injury takes. I dont remember him ever missing time on a questionable injury. He sells fouls but he doesnt ever miss time. He is a durable and tough as they come. Knock on wood.
Harden is so durable (knocks on wood), when he plays through injury and scores 30, people think the injury isn't that big of deal. In reality that ankle injury, or shoulder injury, or hand injury, or illness would keep a normal human on the shelf for a couple days. Harden treats real injuries like no big deal so when his game reflects his unreported ailments, He gets no sympathy.
Fchowder has to smoke weed to numb out the sorrow he feels when he sees his idol Jenny Lin’s career nowadays
SMH Harden plays through injury all the time and doesn't complain. Most of the time he won't even admit when he's injured. With fans like these, who needs enemies?
It is unfair matches, warriors uses this kinds of method to win. NBA officials encouraged that they dont give any punishment to green after the match. Can morey sends a complaint letter to nba to ban Green to play? If scratch eyes is allowed, we can ask our bench players to scratch durrant, curry, Thompson eyes etc. Green is not the 1st time.
No he doesn't. Come on DD you been watching Harden since he got here. The guy has played through multiple injuries and has never made dramatic exit scenes like Paul Pierce or LeBron James. I get that Harden has tendencies that may rub people the wrong way, but faking injuries has never been one of them. Selling calls is extremely different from selling an injury. He gains nothing from selling an injury since most folks are not sympathetic towards Harden.
It is about how he exaggerates them, not that he is not tough, just that he calls attention to it. That causes doubt about severity. That is what I see, a great player, who is really dramatic. DD
