Harden will be fine know one needs to question his heart and desire after this. When sweat gets in your eye and your eye is injured it's going to burn. So this dude is playing valiantly. He will get them in Houston. This is a 7 game series. Teams always play better at home

Posted after game 1 when fchowd started his nonsense, can’t remember which thread, but I listed a short list of posters who without fail always come out of the woodwork to straight hate on Harden every single time an opportunity is presented.

DD was first on my list.

And this is years and years and years of this. Same guys. And they will tell you they are just being “real”.

LOL. They just don’t like him. They never have. His stellar play has made them mute a lot of their ****, but as soon as they get their chance to hate, they are there.

It’s called a subconjunctival hemorrhage after a corneal abrasion.

Harden will never get sympathy compared to Curry playing with a dislocated left finger which the media will see as heroic and brave. Just need to take the next three days to recover and defend our homecourt. Turnovers and second chance points killed us. We actually shot well. Bench needs to show up big time.

I agree DD. It's obviously nothing. Since others won't believe you, step up and let someone rake you across both eyes until you bleed. No big deal. I'm sure you'll just rub some dirt on it and keep typing away in your computer. That'll show them.

Yeah, a ton of other things could have happened that he hadn't noticed last night with the blurriness and distractions. He could have optic nerve damage, a retina tear or partial detachment, posterior vitreous detachment etc.

Eyes are very delicate and it's always worrisome when you get the type of contact Harden got last night.

    @DaDakota

I'm shocked at how dismissive you are about this.

I expected more from you. Yikes

I got scratched/poked eye by a dude playin ball...probably 5 years ago now. Nowhere near the damage quite obviously but I can tell you for damn sure, I didn’t score 30 after that. My eye was blurry as ****, watering/twitching... I still have a floater in my eye from it.

This man gotta show some of y’all the blood on the towel? Get wrecked. “Not a big deal” or injury-shaming takes....man. You gotta have hate in your heart. For real, just because you have an internet connection don’t mean you don’t have to be civil. Lacking empathy to this degree is sociopathic.

Harden played brilliantly despite that, being in great difficulty.

So refs are going to call 'landing zone' foul on Warriors in Game 2?

I will not be shocked to hear Kerr ordered Draymond Green to 'inadvertently' poke BOTH eyes of James Harden to take him out of the game.

I am surprised that media have not touched this topic yet.

I've got corneal erosion and abrasion before. At it's worst it's like you're eyelids are made of sandpaper.

You can play through the pain right after, but your body will start telling you to get help after the adrenaline wears off

I'm not sure what we're allowed and not allowed to post links to, but if you watch the first video at the link below, at about 0:37, there's no doubt in my mind that it was intentional. Maybe he did it subconsciously, or didn't mean to hurt Harden, but it was no accident.

The ball was two feet above both their heads at that point. I am not sh*tting anyone. If you think it wasn't intentional watch it from around 0:37 - 0:40.
