+At home +Rest for the old folks +Steph is breaking down +Almost took both games away honestly even though the games were the worst games I've ever watched +Draymond still a mouth breather If we win both games at home, maybe we can find our stride. Also play ****ing Faried god damnit.
Blah. He’s the new Kobe (vs. Shane) Let him take his pull-up 18-20 footers. Play a half step off of him, if you have to. Just don’t let him drive. It’s a foul every time. I can live with him beating me on low percentage jumpers.
They defended home court. I can't look at things objectively right now. It might be a good thing they have a long stretch to adjust and figure out why they think they're so good they can allow second chance points, poor transition d and sloppy turnovers
I’ve been waiting for a championship my whole life, and a clumsy center from Switzerland is ruining what will be my last chance. Next year we will have like 3 superteams against us
Faried comes in and almost instantly blows a defensive assignment/switch everytime. It's like GS targets him off the ball but they don't he just makes it look like that
I'd like to be as positive as you bro and i appreciate it, but realistically, i can see the Warriors win one game in Houston more than i see this Rockets team beat them two times in a row. Game 1 should've been our of course, but to me today's game was never close to a win for us, we were always behind and playing worse than them, and even when we somehow managed to get down 3 (Warriors probably took their foot off the pedal a bit), it took us like 20 seconds to **** everything up and let them go up 8/10 again... But it's the big picture that makes me kinda negative... - i don't really know if James is going to be at his best - Chris is just not as good as he was last season - pick & roll between James and Clint is not working, and for our offense that's a big issue - Faried can't even stay on the floor cause he's completely lost on defense and pick & roll is not working for him either - Green will give us a 3 here and there but he's constantly exposed on D - Nene can't play two consecutive games and will get burned by the Warriors guards like Anderson anyway - House is looking like a G-league player - Shumpert can't shoot A lot of things need to change if we want to have a chance, and some of them are definitely not going to change.
Still if we win both home games, that means win four in a row or game 7 in Oracle. Who likes chances like that? I dont.
Pick and roll is being trapped by Golden Sate that's one adjustment. Boxing out is another one on both offensive and defensive glass. Spacing on offense Cutting on Offense Staying connected defensively switching aggressively Take care of the Ball Post up Curry with Tucker Gordon and James Play Nene when Draymond is out of the Game Play Faried with PJ and House as well Get Austin to Drive to the basket more on iso's
We just need to win one game at a time. We can beat anybody including these guys. We just got to punch them in the mouth early and often.
after digesting the loss I feel better about game 3. I mean it is a must win game so if we lose the series is over so might as well see how much fight this team has left especially Capela.
We lost the Game in the 1st quarter we beat them for 3 quarters. We just got to get them early. The only thing that Golden State has over us is they know how to win where as we know how to compete. Thats why we need to be or compete at a real high level in order to eat these guys.
The desperation of Game 3 might just give the Rockets the edge they need to build towards winning the series
I’ll blame them for having us live in Orlando during the 90s, which happened to be the team that lost to the rockets, before I cared about basketball. My life sucks. Honestly though, watching the artest, yao, scola, landry, rafer team in 08 was more fun than watching this team in a way, even though we weren’t as good. Sometimes being the underdog is more rewarding than having expectations and not meeting them.
