if you think harden is a whiney cunt and his fans are a reflection of that, why not just go root for TOR instead?

Because it's a very inefficient shot where it becomes more efficient due to the nature of how foul prone the shot can be hence why Harden relies on them.

Harden is expecting the call on most of his 3 pt attempts. That's unsustainable. Refs are hesistent to give a player 4-5 3 pt fta in one game.

Its not all about Harden though. They will find other ways to sway the lead, and have a million ways to do it. Ask Paul, Gordon, and Tucker how many times they have been blatantly held and fouled with no calls. Curry,Green, Thompson, and Durant could foul out by halftime if they called them.

He does become a whiney cunt in games many times. The dude is notorious for not getting back on D for multiple possesions of a game because he is complaining to a ref. He does it more than other players. 7 years through this BS and people still have their blinders on.

harden shot 40% on stepback 3's in 5 games against UTA this month. if you think that is inefficient you are the most uninformed poster on clutchfans

I could go into all the details, but I'll just say: this is the dumbest post I've ever seen on CFs.

Well he's shooting less than 33% from the 3 this playoffs and 29% last playoffs. So yes it's an inefficient shot and is only worthwhile most of the time because of its proneness to foul calls.

I garauntee you that when Harden hoists a heavily contested step back three in the playoffs, he's thinking of the foul call more so than actually making a bucket.

I've supported Harden plenty of times. After 7 years of disappointing playoff performances, I tend to not nut hug for the sake of nut hugging.

Harden doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt anymore. His severe drop off in performance in the playoffs year in and year out is disappointing.

It doesn't make me any less of a Rocket fan than you for accepting reality.

The refs wouldn't have to keep calling it. If they'd called it correctly yesterday, Klay's ass would've been parked on the bench most of the first half in foul trouble and the Warriors defenders would've adjusted and stopped undercutting the Rockets shooters on 3-pointers.

Conversely, if the refs don't call those fouls to begin with, it's only gonna encourage the Warriors to keep doing it. And you'd have to be an idiot or a Golden State homer to pretend that this doesn't affect the Rockets shooters mentally. If you're constantly worried about spraining your ankle on a jumpshot every time you rise up, that's gonna impact your rhythm and concentration.

But it's definitely the case. Especially last game. The dude doesn't try to create genuine space anymore to get a good look. He just wants the heavily contested three so it has a higher chance of a fta.

Maybe if the Rockets were not so depedant on heavily contested threes...

They're not dependent on heavily contested threes. Their offense is built around taking a sh-tload of threes. Opponents know this and are contesting these shots as tightly as they're allowed. The problem is the refs allowed the Warriors to literally land underneath Harden and CP3 repeatedly yesterday(not to mention Game 7 last year).

So Gordon at the 4 then? Lol, we will never grab a rebound then. House at the 4 makes more sense since he can rebound reasonably well with his size and hops.

    We lost by 4 points.

4 obvious landing foul would have given us 12 extra points

Also minus 3 technicals out of frustration because of the no calls

harden actually drove the lane twice in the 1st Q and got literally tackled with no call. in fact the reason he's developed his stepback 3 and more recently the floater IS BECAUSE HE DOESN'T GET THE FUKING CALLS DRIVING INTO THE PAINT

The step back 3 is not inefficient shot for Harden as it maybe for others. It’s also not a foul prone shot. The reason you are saying it’s a foul prone shot is because Harden is good at it (40% reg season) AND the only way to stop it is to foul and take out the landing space or hit the arms unless you have a long defender who shades left. Why take shots or drive the lane since it is also foul prone? That’s the logic you are using...makes no sense.

Do you think Harden's game is heavily reliant on the refs blowing the whistle relative to other superstar players?
