That's where a coach simply needs to take control. I mean Game 3 against Utah was a perfect example. Harden shot .150 from behind the arc and still took twice as many 3's as most. That's just being stupid and selfish. I mean we had guys shooting really well but he kept taking all the shots. I'm beginning to think that will never change, and other stars must know that as well.

Really overall I thought our defense was amazing. Hit a few more threes, let cooler heads prevail, and we can take G2. Getting Rivers back will be huge, wouldn’t mind seeing Faried as well but BD Nene was definitely out there swingin’ it.

Unfortunately I expect most/all of these games to be this tight and for the series to go 7. Not good for my health ugh.

Why? What would he have done differently for us today?

The problem is that there are 48 minutes in a game and Iman Shumpert only played in 21 of them. This is the playoffs. He needs to be on the court for at least 40 minutes.

We’ll take games 2 thru 5 for the gentlemen’s sweep!

Worriers will review game 1 tape and continue to worry if Silver can bail them out this series again.

As much as I hate the jazz and everyone on their roster but shoutout to Gobert for that tweet.

My prediction of Warriors in 4 is unfortunately looking really good now. The Rockets just blew a golden opportunity to get one.

Glad to see ESPN headlines/commentary are about the officiating.

You are trying to put me in the Harden "hater" box. To the contrary, I am a big fan of his. I want him to prove the critics wrong. I don't want him to be a regular season wonder and a playoff dud. He wasn't fouled on every play. He has been shooting poorly for the last several games. Had he just shot 40% today, the Rockets would have won going away. However, it is not all on him. The bench didn't do much except NeNe did well. Capela was a complete no show, and Tucker has to do more than defend.

It's so predictable. Rockets always somehow end up getting the short end of the stick ultimately. After the first quarter I stopped watching. I knew the ending to this entertainment show.

Doesn’t matter in the slightest. League will continue to miss obvious calls and gift the Warriors wins in the name of ratings

See, this is where you're wrong.

It's not either/or, that's the same illogical polarization that plagues our political environment and causes unnecessary division.

They could have played better AND have had completely inconsistent officiating handed to them. It's not one or the other. Rockets could've not started 1/14 on threes, our guards could've not missed 5 FTs, we could've not given up 3 techs/FTs, we could've not subbed in Nene, we could've rebounded better near the end of the 4th, etc and so on.

My post was ALSO true, and also had a part to play in this game. The refs 6 missed 3pt foul calls were egregious, and not only were commentators talking about it, but non-Houston ball social media is all over it.

So what? That's what's so what. It all matters, not just one part or the other.
