I was checking the box score on Yahoo, which I admit is not a definitive site, and I noticed that Harris got credit for a hold even though he gave up the tying runs, and that Pressley got a blown save, giving him more blown saves than runs allowed. I understand the blown save, Pressley was on the mound when the tying run scored. But I don't understand the rule for the hold. Is it truly simply that we were ahead when Harris entered and still ahead when he left the game? He could have left runners on second and third and they would have both scored on the hit Pressley gave up. Would Harris both get a hold and be the losing pitcher? Of course, the Yahoo site could simply be in error.
