I found his early work enjoyable but his recent workings are simply derivative of his earlier motifs.
Do you like zdog? Been a big zdog fan, ever since the release of his original diss album, called harden smokes weed. Before that i didnt really understand any of his work, it was too artsy, too intellectual...it was on harden smokes weed where uh, zdogs presence became more apparent...i think harden sucks is zdogs undisputed masterpiece, its an epic meditation on intangibility at the same time it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding 3 albums...christy, take off the robe... listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of a repetitive beat , zdog and some lithium you can practically hear every nuonce of every instrument, sabrina...remove your dress, in terms of lyrical craftsmenship and sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism, sabrina why dont you uh, dance a little! take the lyrics to "Land of zion", in this song, zdog adresses the problems of getting out of the first round. In Too Deep in the paint is the most moving pop song of the millenia, about monogomy and commitment, the song is extremely uplifting...his lyrics are as positive and affirmative as uh, anything ive heard in rock...christy, get down on your knees so sabrina can see your ass....zdogs solo career, it seems to be more commercial...and therefore more satisfying in a narrower way. especially songs like, in the airball tonight with ricky rubio and against all odds gentlemens sweep...sabrina dont just stare at it, eat it! I also think, zdog works best within the confines of the group at insane asylum than as a solo artist, and i stress the word artist!
“Houston paid the refs... “ I wonder if the fellow knows just how ironic that statement is. Is there irony in his face? I think not, but it is pure, whatever is behind those eyes. ZDOG sings Utah.
We still owe them oh IDK like an infinity number of heart breaks bc nothing has come even close to the tragic ending to the 1997 sesason.
cfans is at its best when an inspired post also perfectly matches the poster's avatar ... well done, IBTL...masterpiece!
Man, that will always be bullshit. And then in 98 Barkley hurting his arm... I think the Rockets would have won that series.
There was an article that Gobert through stupidity is a hero for forcing the NBA to shut down. https://www.statesman.com/sports/20...rt-is-nbas-patient-zero---and-accidental-hero
