Gobert is great but Harden was the best defender against Harden last few games.

 

Seriously. I used to think he'd be out of the league because of his awful shooting. Dude is looking like an all star this series

 

Gutsy win, great team win and maybe better than needing CP3 to go for 41 like last year. Harden kept fighting, but it’s time for a big game! Gordon’s been so great this series as well as Tucker. Capela, what can you say, he’s a tru warrior. Very classy to thank the fans like that.

And what do you know, play Nene and you get results. House contributing a bit, but we need more from them. Green looks completely lost. Shump might take his spot soon. Did you see Bzdelik coming to mid court telling MDA about defense on that 2nd to last possession, priceless

Gotta love this team!! Are those blocks right or out home stat keepers very generous? Tucker and Harden with 4? Did you also hear they credited Harden with the steal that Gordon made on Rubio? Gotta love Worrell for just saying it like it is.

I’m happy he’s no longer sick - that definitely played a toll (i.e. he was soft the last few games)

Yeah, seriously, for being an important playoff game Toyota Center is really disheartening, we basically play on the road everytime...

 

This might have been a different series if Utah had it figured out in the first two games because they clearly played way better the last three games.

 

I dunno, I expect the offense to be a lot more fun and basically the championship.

 

I missed the last 2 minutes and had to sweat it out watching ESPN gamecast.

At least half those floaters in 2nd half were over Favors. Helped his confidence in that shot.

Here is the thing, GSW really doesn't have the personnel to run this odd defense style. Iggy isn't the same guy he was say 2 years ago. Klay can't do it. Draymond is too slow to do it. Maybe Livingston.

Plus Looney and Bogut are good, but no where near the athlete that Gobert is to cover Capella and challenge the shot.

 

Harden played the best defense as a rockets player tonight as well. Paul and Gordon were trying to lose it at the end with those horrendous possessions but we got it

 

yes part of it is definitely mental, but when you only have two or three options on offense and elite defensive teams take away one or two of those, then of course you're in trouble. Harden needs to diversify his offense if he wants to be truly unstoppable. Never saw MJ Kobe Hakeem Duncan etc. be so reliant on one or two moves. They all had seven or eight moves in their arsenal of weapons. Harden does not.

 

Let's be real for a sec.

- Capela is soft
- PJ should come off the bench
- Gordon should come off the bench
- Harden is a choker
- Paul is done

 

well at least Gobert is like Ankle weights. If you do a whole round of floaters against him, you will hit 100% against Donkey Green

 

Speaking of stripping. You think that is where Harden will be after the game?
