I havent seen them pick and roll gobert yet...are they that dumb? Should be an easy beat for harden. God we need this coach fired

 

Mike needs to try Shumpert, i understand Gerald can make big shots but at some point you need to take a risk, and at this point it doesn't exactly look like a risk...Faried also not looking great again, not shocking though, with James out he doesn't have the same chance to play the pick & roll so, turnning a blind eye on his defense is more difficult.

I disagree with Shaq. I don't want the Rockets up 15-20......that's one of the worst position for them to be in going into the half. They tend to let teams back in.

Wish Ariza was still here for this switching defense with the length and experience he provided, I don’t care much for his shot because no one else besides Gordon is shooting well right now anyways. This 3 guard lineup with switching against bigs is a liability. However, it can get better with quick movements and active hands.

 

GSW is gonna be watching how this defense is working on Houston and be a copycat. That's the only thing that worries me because their offense is way better than Utah.

 

Does he have that in his offensive package? I haven't seen James play the glass. He might want to work on that in the offseason. Playing the glass is a lost art.

It’s not about that to me. The misses are happening because of the strategy we are running and Gobert. They keep trying to jam a square peg into a round hole with Harden and how he is attacking Gobert.

 

They really do need to run. I've noticed every time they're in transition the Jazz foul because they don't want the Rockets running. If nothing else, we'd foul a few of those guys out if we ran after every rebound.

 

They don't have someone as long as gobert, if they do to harden, harden would destroy them

 

If it hasn't happened by now then it ain't going to happen.

 

Calvin just said it himself just now, rebound and RUN. Surely one of coaches can relay the message

 

I was thinking about how his defense is a missing link last game. I wish we had kept him.

 

If Bogut has a throwback defensive series D’Antoni should be drawn and quartered.
