The thunder got done like we did when Brothers or Foster was reffing, it shouldve been a 7 game series the blazers were not that good but the refs kept it one sided calls. League just sending a message to Westbrook for all the commotion about racist fans.

Westbrook is the far more talented and athletic version of a dumb Airemy Lin for OKC.

Airemy bonehead plays cost Rockets the series.

Westbrook's dumb plays cost Thunder the series.

Lillard sealed the fate for both teams.

Why are you here? To bask in the failures of the Rockets? You must be fun in real life. [IMG]

Lillard really stepped it up to close out OKC. Reminded me of regular season Harden. There was no stopping him. I’d love to see Harden do that to Utah tonight!

    Overreaction Wednesday :D

    https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/...s-his-case-as-a-top-five-player-in-the-world/

    [...]

But no matter what happens for the rest of these playoffs, Tuesday's performance served as a reminder that Lillard isn't just an All-Star, or an All-NBA player. He's that rare type of superstar who can take over a game and a series. He's not Stephen Curry -- nobody on this earth is Stephen Curry -- but Damian Lillard is the closest that humanity has come to producing a second version of Stephen Curry.

I know the question will be that, if Lillard is a top-five player, who does he knock out? Truth is, I don't know. The NBA is loaded with superstars like never before. Is LeBron a top-five player still, even after the disastrous year he had in Los Angeles, the disinterest in defense and the effects of age? Would you rank Lillard higher than Anthony Davis, considering Davis has only twice played more than 68 games and Lillard has missed a total of 25 games in his seven-year NBA career? Would you rather have Lillard or James Harden on your team?

A lot of this comes down to a matter of taste. Right now, my top five would have, in some order: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, LeBron James and … Damian Lillard.

You can disagree. But if you're not considering Lillard as one of your final cuts -- as a serious part of the top-five player conversation -- well then I'm guessing you didn't only fall asleep for Tuesday night's game. I'm guessing you've fallen asleep for vast chunks of the past two NBA seasons.

    Time to wake back up.

What coach wouldn’t be when the FO will always back the brick over the coach?

Is any coach willing to get fired?

LBJ is definitely not a top 5 player anymore and the fact that Harden isn’t on this list makes this a complete joke. Harden is solidly top 2 at least.

Doesn't playoff P watch NBA games? He was too far off from Lillard, almost inviting him to take that long arse three, which Lillard is well capable of making.

But Sam Presti is a genius remember. Scare money don't make no money, right? I don't think Sam is the issue, he's done his job and acquired talent, in fact he got a couple guys Morey wanted in Morris and Noel. That team should be doing better and winning more games. There is no excuse for their late season nosedive and subsequent playoff ineptitude, the issue is and has been for a while coaching

I voted Blazers in 6. Close enough. :p

And are we going to ignore the fact that 70% here voted for OKC winning the series? :)

As far as I know there have been no confirmed reports of morey ever wanting morris and noel. Just because cf's makes up a rumor doesn't mean its true.

okc has numerous bad players and their "mvp" is one of them, who doesn't nearly impact actual winning as much as his fans want to believe he does.
