She's an average commentator, but not worth complaining about when there are clearly worse ones out there like Reggie Miller.
Perfectly sums it up, and **** em both. One of the most equally biased and moronic announcing jobs I've ever witnessed. Did nothing but make the game harder to watch...but more importantly, further convinced the mouth-breathers out there that Harden does nothing but flop, choke and whine.
So she saw the replay and decided the Rockets were right to complain, after initially thinking the ref”s call was right. Why should this bother anyone? When she also expressed frustration over Jazz players complaining to the refs, did that mean she was biased against them? When she was praising the Rockets early in the game for how they interact on the floor with eachother and how locked in they are and how they look like a team ready to win a championship, was that more hating from her? This is all so stupid.
Doris also was hating on the Rockets for complaining, she complained about the complaining nearly all game. I actually like Doris, she has always respected Harden, and if you see her in a GSW/Rockets matchup she seems to be more complementary. I think her and Hubie tend to pull for the underdog.
Thank you. Good god almighty, she couldn't put out an intelligent string of words to save her life and she would NOT shut the f**k up! There are plenty of chicks around who could do a much better job. I don't know why they have her at all, unless it's to piss people off. She pissed me off! The dude was lousy, but she was horrific.
I think it was only this broadcast, this was a first where I noticed her somewhat hating. Historically Doris is only second to JVG when it comes to national broadcasters and showing the Rockets love.
I can't speak to other games, but tonight she was beyond terrible, in my humble opinion. Maybe it's the altitude.
I loved the part where she says "It didnt feel like...." Didnt feel like??? Why not watch the replay before making an assessment?
She is the Kenny Smith of ESPN. Trying too hard to sound and look smart. I also get irritated by her voice, which is 3/4 male and 1/4 female. Really messes up my brain waves.
So long as she’s willing to adjust her assessment afterwards, why does it matter? Every broadcast crew provides commentary/opinion on what happened as it happens. Even Breen and JVG do this, and they will revise after replay as needed. It happens all the time. What I’m seeing here is a clear-cut anti-female broadcaster bias. Not an anti-Rockets bias.
Every comment I made had nothing to do with her sex. I also happen to be a feminist and am an ardent supporter of women's rights. She was awful tonight, in my humble opinion. Maybe she's wonderful in other games, but she was awful tonight.
