James Harden Stats Thread

i am just HOPING that during or after the GS series, someone (CP3 or Beard or Tuck or Nene etc, or Morey or Tilman) comes out and publicly spotlights the gross bias, both on and off the court.

 

I thought it was 9 games over 50 not 7

 

Harden attempted 1028 threes

Only 8% of those threes were "Wide Open"
41 for 89. 46%

Giannis attempted 203 threes

78% of those were "Wide Open"
42 for 160. 26%

 

One player works within an offense the other is the offense.

 

Most seasons leading league in FTA

Wilt - 9
Mailman - 7
Harden - 6 --- tied with at least one other player, don't recall who

Jordan - 1 --- wasn't expecting so low a total

 

James Harden put up the "50" sign with his hand in the Nets game at the 2:41-2:48 mark of this video. I cant believe i never caught that when it happened during the game at the time. Thats sick, Harden was really torturing his body to drag us to the playoffs, just as shame he most likely will not be rewarded with an mvp

I wanted to point out how differently are refs treating him...

 

More interesting is how it increases for GSW players, curry gets twice as many FTA in postseason than he does regular season.

Reputation matters, positively and negatively.

Only 4 players with better stats than Harden on offense, and only about a dozen better on defense.

I'm so proud of this dude for finally stepping it up on D. And he's only going to keep getting better for the next couple of years.

 

@Koperboy, I'd love to see you keep updating that chart as the playoffs continue.

 

Good idea! It'll probably shut up my collegues of our podcast...I'm the only pro-Harden amongst them!

 

And of course, if Harden's starts getting a ****-ton of calls, you can quietly stop doing it.

 

Makes sense with Durant, since Bev has spent the first two games in KD's underwear.

 

Haha he for sure won't get more than 3-4 FTAs per game against Utah, just to keep the series interesting. Against GSW though, he could get more calls - again, to keep it interesting.
