Nah... he stole it. He knows damn well that James Harden should be the MVP.

When teams start changing their entire defensive system to stop Giannis, let me know.

When the #1 defensive team in the NBA, doubles and scraps their defense to stop Giannis, let me know.

Giannis is a very good player...... but ........ he is going to steal James Harden's MVP.

Whenever voting is involved it is a popularity contest. There's no guarantee voters will make the right choice.

Can one of the Rockets be a pest like Beverley? Probably not. But they should at least try too. I'm not sure how Durant ended up fouling out of the game. I dont see him fouling out in the future. I also think with Rivers and CP to defend Curry as well as going at him on offense, we should be fine. But Durant is a nightmare matchup for us.

Not really. It's just who Beverley is. Can't teach that. Similar to Jimmy Butler or Draymond Green in that regard. Not just great defenders, but also extremely annoying to play against. There's probably like only 5 guys like that in the whole league of ~500 players.

Yeah definitely. I think PJ comes close, but still nowhere near Beverley's level haha

Yeah if you could somehow make PJ less mature, he'd probably be just as annoying haha

With the Boogie injury and the interesting fact that the Clippers could win more than 1, this thread automatically adds 50-70 pages.

Harrell averaging 25.5 ppg, 7.5 boards, 1 steal, 1 block on 83% from the field makes me happy.

    Dudes punking Draymond and Bogut.

    pasta from gsw fan site

"To all the people saying we are going win this series. one question:

Which do you think is more likely?

    A. Clippers win the series
    B. Clippers win the game yesterday after being down by 31

To me, clippers winning yesterday after being down by 31 seemed less likely to happen…yet it happened. Consider me worried about this series"

    more gsw fans whining

It seemed clear to me that the refs were calling bogus fouls on Curry

I’m sure Kerr saw that too. So leaving Curry in was a sure way to get him two more quick fouls even if Curry didn’t do anything wrong. Two quick bogus foul calls on a star player is tough for any team. Getting three or four in a row would have been a disaster.

I’m not saying it was intentional but the refs really have a lot of control over the outcome of a game. That’s why I turned it off when the reffing got ridiculous. Almost every time I turn a game off because I can’t stand the bad refereeing the Dubs lose.

I don’t think there was anything Kerr or our players could have done to salvage that game. The bad calls and bad no-calls and all of that holding really made it hard for them to play basketball. The refs kept calling fouls on our players when they were being held and tried to break away. When Steph gets his fourth foul for getting held by another player then you’ve got to take him out in hopes that sanity will eventually return. It didn’t.

Warriors fan crying about the refs that’s rich. Their whole trash legacy was built on cheating refs and whiny pathetic little fairies forming an unbeatable super team. **** the warriors and everything related to them. Can’t wait for the team to break up and become the bottom of the cellar dwellers they’ve always been

If you are not good at it, an attempt at being a pest would simply put the player in foul trouble. Being a pest is an art in of itself, and as much as one might dislike them, its not as easy as it looks to walk that fine line.

Durant is a matchup nightmare for almost everyone, and thus you give him different looks and make him work for his shots.

You really dont want CP3 chasing Curry around, as that increases his risk of injury. Rivers and EG might be able to do it if they dont get into foul trouble with the new rules. Klay is the one that might be the easier target to try and knock of his rhythm.

Summary: make durant work, let curry defend and try to shut down Klay. Draymond, Iggy and Looney can take as many shots as they want.

The level of officiating has really been poor this season and seems to have gotten worse in the playoffs.

The refs seem to miss/ignore blatant calls and seem to enjoy playing tin god e.g the ref that tossed Jokic against wizards, actually asked him if he wanted another one - wtf?.

I prefer that games have some attitude and physicality. I really missed the old days. The way things are going one might see more physicality watching badminton.

Why is everyone just dismissing the possibility of the Clippers winning a game at Staples? They now believe they can win against Golden State. Hell, even in Game 1, the score was close in the 3rd quarter before the Warriors blew it open.
