Cousin will regret not signing that deal with New orleans now. He might never ever getting a max again.

Between the separation already occurring, and now, Cousin's injury....It's already denting those odds .

    GS 5-9
    Bucks 4-1
    Rockets 7 1/2 -1

    Last year?
You mean when they were down 3-2 until CP3 got hurt?

Looney is a garbage man . .. . meaning his points are on plays not drawn for him
Putbacks, dump offs etc. . .and if he don't touch the ball for 30 minutes he does not care
    He is decent.
    a very poor man's capela

    Disagree.

We dont know if he would have gotten the injury anywhere else. Heck, if was playing for a non-playoffs team he wouldn't even be playing yesterday.

Also, I dont NEED to and neither am I REQUIRED to feel sorry for a guy that joined a team that is already heavily loaded with stars and made the parity of the NBA even worse.

It was a mini gutless move on the footsteps of a mega gutless move by Durant.

    Sorry, no sympathies from me.

This is huge! they beat us without KD last game, with Boogie killing us. We woulda had to play faried on boogie with help defenders. Now we don't. Now we have a chance, a real chance of beating them. With KD and boogie on the floor you can't double them both. Even tho we isolated boogie in the previous games, i don't think he was physically 100 percent back from his injury. He looked much better in the last game against us and we had no answer for him. We can now even play tucker at the 5 in the fourth quarter due to capelas free throw issues.

At least Iggy isn't hurt or then they'd really be in trouble.

Plus he played the victim and acted like the league blackballed him and the only team out there that wanted him was Golden State. It's annoying. NO offered him a great deal coming off a horrible injury and he played victim and went title chasing.

Yes...the GSW team is now very similar to the previous playoffs teams after KD joined. The unknown element in Cousins is now gone for better or worse. However, gaurding a center that can post, shoot the 3, and rebound on our heavy switch defensive system is one our largest weakness on the defensive end this year especially with a small ball lineup of positions 1-3 with guards.

At least for the Rockets, after Cousins injury yesterday, we know how to clearly beat them from last year. There aren’t unknowns now or how we change our game plan.

I hate to admit it but Clint could not handle Cousins late in the last matchup. I'm not saying we couldn't have game planned for this but it's definitely one less thing we have to worry about now. People saying this makes them better are crazy, they have Bogut playing big minutes now!

Eh...all of their bigs are bbq chicken....Harden can kill all of them in the iso game.... not worried... Boogie would have just been an easy target.

This doesn't help us or hurt us in a meaningful way. he was always a much bigger name than actual impact.

The Warriors in their infinite arrogance signed him to troll the league instead of using their MLE on a rotation player that would have had a much bigger impact, with less potential baggage.

Nah, Cousins forced Clint away from the basket too much. Now he can bang down on the block with Looney and Bogut.

You're also forgetting about of those highlights of Cousins passing! Lol The Warriors lose a ton of BBIQ and open weakside cut opportunities with him off the floor. Looney is very efficient however and a great rebounder. Bogut will goon.

yup. typically after surgery, the timetable is 6-8 months for recovery which does depend a lot on the person

I fail to see how this isn't very good news for the Rockets.

The idea that the Warriors "had to play Cousins" is absurd. The Warriors would not risk losing a series to appease Cousins.

Cousins played well down the stretch and was a match up problem for the Rockets. The Rockets weakness is rebounding and Capela has issues against Cousins. So this injury takes away some issues where the Rockets struggle.

Kevon Looney doesn't really play well against the Rockets. Don't be fooled by the field goal percentage. He gets some put backs when the Rockets switch, but we do not need to really worry about Looney scoring any other way. Bell is a better athlete, but he has been lost all season. Bogut used to be a HUGE part of the Warriors success, but this season the only thing he has done well for the Warriors is rebound and he is 34 and likely won't play more than a dozen minutes a night.

Defensively Cousins being out is quite good for the Rockets.

i think the significance is just another big body down. what if looney gets into foul trouble ? bogut cant play big minutes, and especially not with harden/cp3 in a pick n roll. cousins isnt good in the pick n roll defense either, but at least the impact he can have offensively can make up for it.

anyway lets just take care of business against the jazz before we think about the warriors. what happened to them last night could easily happen to us. cp3 is a pretty high postseason injury risk, and we dont need to screw around and let utah tie the series up. the warriors are going to be in for a real fight now. there is nothing they can to shake the clippers confidence or make them give up at this point.
