The dubs are the greatest team ever. That's why you have to weigh everything so critically and make the right decisions. Barring injury to them, we will never beat that team with Capela playing top 6 rotation minutes. Call that insane all you want to. That's like calling me insane because I said the Rockets won't win a championship with Harden averaging over 4.1 turnovers a game. I don't care if he averages 40. It ain't gonna happen. Insanity is thinking it is going to happen. Same thing with Capela and PnR offense. You won't beat a healthy Warriors team playing PnR. You play right into their strength. You may be able to run some PnR against them. But to beat them you're going to have to have a 5 that can play pick n pop, step out and knock down the 3 consistently. Hopefully Hartenstein gets there this summer and we'r can move on to a higher level.
I don't care. Maker is making about a fifth of what Capela makes. We'r can I don't care. He ain't on a big salary.
Draymond was suspended. And that was the margin the Cavs needed. Not to mention..... go examine the Cavs lineups..... Do your homework.
The trade would not have just been about Thon. It was also about time and salaries and what else you could do under the tax. And time has proven.... that we'r needed more of it... and more cap. Melton, a first, a second, and a bunch of crap signings... plus maker .. Plus whoever else we could've signed. Let the Capela hype machine roll on...
Harden averaged 5 TOs per game this year therefore we will lose the title this year therefore worrying about CC and whether not we can win with him is a waste of time. Oh well. Try again next year I guess. Maybe Harden will get it someday.
You are comparing an end of roster vet minimum player to a major, multi-year investment. I am confident that the latter is not Harden’s call.
Suggesting the Cavs are champions because Draymond was suspended for one game is comparable to saying the Rockets are only champions because Jordan retired. In both cases, you are wrong.
Tis a shame this team has that team in front of it. When Cousins is the 5th or 6th best player then you need more than a superannuated Chris Capela to climb that mountain. The whole entire League is hamstrung. Right, the GTOAT almost fell to a team with Capela that a specific body parts falling out hurt like the proverbial devil. Injuries are the sheets. They rip...a team's heart out. You're not insane; asane, perhaps. A misplaced screw, perhaps. But not likely insane. Certifiable? Hmm, mebbe.
Everybody that watched that series knows the Draymond suspension turned it. Dubs were up 3-1 and rolling when that happened and at home for games 5 and 6. Tristan had been a non-factor up to that point and was playing limited minutes. Draymond was dominating. After the suspension, everything changed. Draymond wasn't the same. And Tristan took over the interior. Without the suspension ther Dubs roll to the title in 5 games.
This makes no sense. So it was tha Cavs fault that Draymond " wasn't the same". He decided to stop dominating and let Tristan Thompson take over because the refs hurt his feelings. Smh. BTW, Thon for Capela is just as crazy now as it was ehen you first suggested it.
Then so is the warriors one when they beat the Cavs without Irving and love. And the one they beat the Rockets without Paul
