Oh, completely agree. His rant about all of the fat women in San Antonio was absolutely hilarious, and true.

His police footage of when he got popped for DUI in Scottsdale, driving because, "I'll be honest with ya, I'm going to go get a blowjob," is pretty damned funny too.

 

Weird that cheating would satisfy a true competitive fire. Seems like that would sting worse over time than losing.

 

when rockets fans should just be grateful the opposing team was called for out-of-bounds when they stepped out, you know the league office has successfully got a chokehold on the overall rig

 

I just wanted to say that I didn't think there was anything boring about the game. These are my favorite type games....a drink,taking it easy, lying up in bed fartin through silk.

 

The bench was awesome. We’re going to need them to play well every game.

 

Ahh, the money was one thing but Charles sacrificed to allow room for the team to add with the understanding that he would be taken care of ... a principal thing with him. Not defending but that is what he has said.

I think many times fans misconstrue efforts to 'keep a game competitive' with rigging it... somebody even mentioned in the 3rd or 4th qtr that the NBA should be embarrassed with how one sided the game was...
I think the calls on Harden were to get him sat down so the Jazz could try to recover a bit and keep the game entertaining for most watchers..
They're trying to sell a product - and they want it to be entertaining...
Prob is when guys get shook and frustrated and start arguing and lose focus over bad calls - and collapse...
When you get bad calls down the stretch - thats another matter...

 

I like the way D'Antoni played the rotations.

Green early in the game, and Shumpert when protecting a lead in the 4th.

 

Don't forget the NBA footage when he felt a ticky tack foul was called on him and he responded by doing a HARD foul. As they are lined up for the free throw, he's telling the ref "Now that 's a MFing foul there"

 

why didn't the bucks have this problem in their 40pt blowout tonite then? alphabet got like 10 FT's to start the game off. i will agree with you that perhaps this game wasn't rigged to help UTA actually win, but possibly instead just to keep james from dropping 50 on opening night right after the MVP voting was done. but in any case, my main point is that when the games really matter (next series), there is NO FUKING WAY this league is going to allow us to win and tonight's game is exactly how it will go down.

The Jazz had far and away the easiest strength of schedule coming out of the ASB. I wouldn't underestimate them, nor take this series for granted, but I also wouldn't put too much weight on their achievements in the second half of the season. Their success was scheduled.

 

Scottie Pippen hired as Utah Game planner for James Harden (he did seem to say Harding at one time)....he would make him go right and play him from behind. He would not let him fire up 3's but force him toward the basket. Thanks to the earlier poster who posted this video. Marvelous strategy...you can't make this stuff up.

 

not even the refs going full throttle for detroit coulda made that game competitive... plus its a 1 vs 8 - its supposed to be a blowout... "look how great this Bucks team is - they could actually beat GSW in the finals..." is the storyline...
This is the 4vs5 series... they gotta try to fabricate some kinda drama... lol

 

It's almost enough to make me wonder if we saw the same game. When did Harden finally get to the foul line? He was being fouled again and again without calls being made, and he wasn't the only one. The refs were terrible. Then why did we win big? We're just that good. In my opinion.

 

How awesome was that? What a little cutey.
