Depends on what adjustments Utah makes. They’re insane if they try to defend Harden this way again.

gotta take care of business. there is probably already some doubt on their end they can beat us. I know they were disappointed rockets fell to 4, and now just lost by 30. we dont need to give them any hope or confidence. just win baby. it doesnt need to be a blowout like tonight. just get the win and put that pressure on them for game 3.

I think that last second loss at OKC the last game of the season might have been the wake up call and hopefully rox will still be on their toes for game 2.

Game to is a trap game. The question is how egregious will the corruption be by the refs?

As long as the Rockets are focused, the Jazz will be the ones who are trapped—in a well of unending despair!

Boring win. Need more Shumpert so we don't build up a big lead.

The rox are going to allow arrogance to get them in this game. This is the game you have to come out and pop em in the mouth

Stop living in fear, as long as the team plays hard on both ends, we can beat anyone.

We are only 4th because the team has a tendency to slack off and beat itself, if that is corrected we are good to go.

Gotta try and anticipate their adjustments and prepare for different scenarios so we’re ready.

We are going with a longer rotation this series, and that will prevent from this happening in my opinion. There are guys that will get minutes that will want more time if we progress in the playoffs (Faried, Rivers, House, etc playing for $$$ as well) I doubt they just kick back, and that attitude is contagious

The success rate for an NBA team to come back and win a series after dropping the first two games is staggeringly bad. Only 20 teams in 282 seven-game playoff series have ever come back to win. Yeah, that’s just above a cool seven percent.

Only six squads have prevailed since 2012 when down 2-0 – the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2012 Western Conference final, the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the 2013 playoffs, the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the 2016 playoffs, the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals, the Boston Celtics in the first round of the 2017 playoffs and the Cavs in the Eastern Conference final vs the Celtics in 2018.

Last year was different. The Jazz had eliminated the Thunder in Utah late Friday night and had to immediately fly to Houston to play Game 1 on Sunday afternoon. Plus they were without Rubio. The Rockets took advantage and jumped out to a huge lead. But they got careless in the 2nd half and let the Jazz make a run. Utah carried that momentum into Game 2. Also, the Rockets played some of the worst defense I've ever seen in the first half of Game 2 and spotted the Jazz a huge lead. They made a run and retook the lead, but they were out of gas by the 4th quarter. Also, Scott Foster officiated Game 2. It wasn't his fault that the Rockets lost, but it is worth pointing out they were 0-3 at Toyota Center last year in the playoffs when he was one of the refs.
