Don’t forget Samwell still has one too (Valyrian steel sword). I don’t think a lot of people remember that. It’s only come up in 1 episode when he took it 4 total that we know of. Which one takes out the NK
Boring. Why have a 20 minute scene where Sam tells Jon who his parents are? This has already been revealed to the audience in the previous season.
It was like 3 minutes long. I don’t think you reveal Jon Snows lineage to Jon Snow off camera. I wouldn’t have wanted that.
Spoiler We got a family reunion. A 10 minute long dragon show. Euron gets a piece of dat ass. Yara gets freed. The only big reveals are a confrontation between Danaerys and Jon. And eventually everyone is going to retreat to the Iron Islands Spoiler If this was going to be a 12 episode season, it would have been fine. Otherwise it was a pretty boring episode.
Ep 1 is a setup for the season - it was good.... And nice to see Sam, and Bran dropping truth bombs......see what Jon does with the info he is a Targaryan, and the cousin of Deanerias. DD
Just finished watching... Like the staredown at the end. Almost feel like that “relationship” will end up being a positive. Who knows. I’m good with the episode. Meshing all the characters and people who are sworn enemies appears to be challenging for sure. Don’t think I’ve said anything that requires spoilers.
It was decent but I felt Euron's story and courting of Cersei should have been cut. The Fantastic Beast show also. Valuable minutes saved.
The most interesting part was Euron get some ass and saying hes "gonna put a prince in that belly". Well, too late Kingslayer already did. Itll be interesting to see how that plays out. The cattiness is great between Sansa and Danerys.
