If anyone watching GSW vs Clippers game right now. The refs still have their back. It will be impossible for rockets to win. Try to not get heartbroken again like last year because part of us know this league is rigged.
Let’s play the Warriors first before declaring that there’s no way to win. I’ll choose to believe in the Rockets stomping the Jazz, and then the Warriors.
Is there a term for pre-knee-jerk threads? Like, this was made before the neurons even fired to make the damn knee move..
Lou Williams always struggles in the playoffs because those foul drawing moves don’t work as well in the postseason. It’s not just against the Warriors.
He sugarcoated it though, he said he will not feel anything in case of a negative outcome. It's a safety net for him.
7-13 from the floor with 5 assists and no turnovers. You may be right about him as a whole but this is not the game to make that statement for.
Lou Williams has played pretty well so far, but he let that one missed foul call get him off his game. Then the whole team fell apart.
I assume this thread is because of the non-calls on his drives at the end of the second quarter. He doesn’t get those calls as consistently in the playoffs.
i don't think it was one missed call. there were moving screens galore from donkey/bogut/snake in the first half. lou was fouled several times going to the basket while anyone gets called just for breathing on snake. zubac was taken out early w/ bs fouls. par for the course w/ malloy reffing a GS game
I agree - I just think that Lou Williams’ foul baiting moves are softer than Harden’s. He got curry a couple of times out of position and drew what technically are fouls, but they were just bumps. Harden gets under the arms of people and really forces the whistle, or gets them lunging at him.
I will feel bad.....unbelievably disappointed if Rockets don’t get past the Worriers. My personal expectations are very high. If they don’t get to the Finals it’ll be a colossal letdown. Championship or Bust
There’s a way. We had no Cp3 We missed more than 25 3s We were still relatively close in both games and we were up Even with all the bad calls we got Definitely we would have won if refs called those fouls and or if cp3 played or if we had made a couple more 3 If we had had Cp3 we could have kept our poise. If we had made 2 or 3 3s we could have gotten hot.
This was already known. Games 6 and 7 last year were an embarrassment for Adam Silver and the NBA. Let everybody know that mandates are made for teams like Golden State.
There's a reason we play the games. Saying, "It's impossible for the Rockets to win," before we've even made it to the second round and played a minute against Oakland is something I simply don't understand. The Rockets have beaten teams before in the playoffs that they "weren't supposed to beat." Our championship run in 1995 is a perfect example. What we did was supposed to be impossible. It wasn't. Go back about decade to the 1986 Western Conference Finals against the defending champion Showtime Lakers, coached by Pat Riley, a team filled to the brim with tremendous talent, and we weren't supposed to win that series, either. Fran Blindbury of the Houston Chronicle, the chump, said we couldn't beat them, something I've never forgiven him for. We took the Lakers in 5 games. The only thing stopping Houston is Houston. Not the Jazz, not Oakland. We can beat them and we will, in my opinion.
I'm so glad we didn't end up playing the clips I strongly feel like Bev would've got somebody thrown out or potentially injured
