lol, some of you are in for a very rude awakening. There is a reason many people at the FBI and DOJ have been fired or have resigned since all this started.

Of course that's correct, and lets be honest that what he's really trying to do here is just open up that coveted "second special counsel" the Republican Trump loyalists have wanted to create a counter balance to the Trump investigations.

I do ultimately think Barr does appoint a special counsel for "any and all crime associated with surveillance abuses", and be looking at prosecuting Comey, Page, Struck, etc. for any crimes a prosecutor can find. I do think though... you won't have Paul Manaforts, and Roger Stones being prosecuted. You'll have pretty seasoned prosecutors in their own right who don't lie, and don't have decades of law breaking that can be leveraged in a case like the Mueller probe.

This will inevitably look like an authoritarian witch hunt as opposed to the Mueller probe which found a sh$% ton of witches with a ton of criminals who pleaded guilty, or were found guilty in the court of law. Alot of people better lawyer up though. Trump now has the power of the police to go full blown autocrat with Barr obviously willing to go there.

The Trumper response today has been very giddy... like this is a vengeful payback to a perceived enemy that wronged you guys personally. Like people such as Comey, McCabe, etc. personally wronged you because they opened an investigation into your hero.

The giddy response just makes Trumpers look like very very small vengeful people. Not very Christian like.

Giddy??? No, not at all. I am however ready to see justice prevail. The has nothing to do with vengeance rather it has everything to do with justice. Most of you are just as clueless as Asha Rangappa appears to be about this entire ordeal.

Yeah.... you definitely sound vengeful dude. Hate to break it to you. Do you even know what "justice" you are looking for?

Also... keep in mind. You haven't even seen the Mueller report yet. You don't even have all the facts, but you are out for "justice" because of blind loyalty to Trump. You don't even know what you are out for Justice for yet, and you don't the full reasons why Trump was investigated. Even if he was unfairly targeted... TRUMP is not YOU. You didn't get hurt because he was hurt financially with lawyer costs, or politically in any way (which he wasn't... his approval has been nearly identical the entire way through).

So why are you personally so invested in vengeance for Donald Trump. Asking seriously.

Justice huh. You care more about a trust fund baby who nutted out of a 413 million dollar penis having his "fair shake" with our justice system when I've never seen you express a desire for justice to be served for victims of police violence and corruption in urban commuties.

Concern trolling as clear as daylight.

I really don't care if they investigate the FISA stuff. My concern is Barr opened the investigation only as a way to redact more Mueller material, claiming it is privileged because it is "part of an ongoing investigation"

If you two believe this entire investigation has been on the up and up from the beginning, then there is nothing to worry about. On the other hand.........

LOL... being led by the guy who first suggests there was "spying" (using trump-speak) and then when challenged on it says, well, there could have been something bad that happened?

Yea... I won't be surprised if "something" is determined? meanwhile... barr keeps the attention off his swiss cheese version of the Mueller report...

What do you think they are discussing in these private dinners? How to best serve the American public?

Well, so far, we have already learned that barr didn't accurate/honestly give his "summary", er, "high points" in his four page letter. And the fact that barr is resisting providing anyone an unredacted version of the report, he is making it sound more like the report doesn't "exonerate" his boss...

Your stance is not surprising. Nothing good can come from either investigations.

I have yet to see anything to indicate the investigation was not on the up and up.

The problem with investigating the FBI for investigating Trump and his campaign is that Trump and his campaign are actual criminals with dozens of people being convicted or indicted as a result of the investigation for matters related to the election.

There is no set of circumstances that can ever change that, and a real investigation will necessarily open up Trump for further investigation of Trump
