Read it and lightly rolled my eyes.

The fact that you would ignore what Barr is doing and focus on this nonsense is baffling.

 

Exactly what is Barr doing that is so bad?

 

I think the general belief is that barr is simply defending the president or at the very least doing everything he can to placate the president. There have been some questionable (at best) disconnects between what barr originally said about his version (summary? key takeaways?) of the Mueller report that seems to have changed a few times since. This despite understandable interest in the report's findings.

But not just the Mueller report. One example:



This, despite the fact that there have already have been four investigations already. Including one that I believe is still ongoing... the office of inspector general's investigation (noteworthy because it is supposed to be a non-partisan investigation).

 

How Barr is handling the Mueller report is not transparent.

Barr gave a four page summary of the report, ignoring the report’s individual summaries. Barr also weighed in on the obstruction charges, which Mueller appears to have wanted Congress to consider.

The fact that Barr has pushed back against giving the un-redacted Mueller Report to Congress makes it seem like Barr is not an honest agent.

Mueller certainly delivered his report to Barr in two versions, redacted and un-redacted. The fact that Barr decided that he needed to re-redact the report gives the appearance that he is not being transparent and thus could be attempting to put his thumb on the scale.

We will have to wait and see how this all plays out.

Congress will get the redacted version of the report. Barr and Mueller will testify publicly and privately in Congress.

And I fully expect that Congress will get the full, un-redacted report, though they might have to take Barr to court to get it.

 

The whole report is coming out eventually, all of it, the question is will it come out before 2020 election.
