More and more Trump defenders are making statements not aimed at defending Trump but in an effort to rationalize their support of Trump. The report is out and it turns out that Trump was a horrible person willing to commit and others to commit criminal acts. It is shown in the report with evidence. Yet the defenders still try and deflect. Surely they know, now that the evidence is out, that nobody but other Trump supporters will buy these excuses. If Trump supporters would pause for just a moment and take the moment for honest reflection they would have to admit that Trump not only committed crimes and ordered others to commit crimes. What Trump opponents have said about him was true all along. I think some have probably taken honest a moment of honest reflection but then go back to re-enforcing the lies. Perhaps because that is easier than simply admitting they were wrong. Or perhaps it isn't even admitting that they were wrong that is so difficult. Perhaps it is admitting that the 'evil liberals' they've been so conditioned to hate were actually right. I don't know, but it is sad.

Not only did Trump commit no crimes, but not a single American was even charged, much less indicted or convicted, for ANYTHING related to the 2016 election or for obstruction of justice. This indictment gives a window into what Trumps indictment would look like if he was a normal citizen. You take this indictment, a mirror indictment of the Cohen charge in the campaign finance charges, and tax fraud charges we know from reporting... and Trump could be looking at some serious jail time .... IF he wasn’t the president. And the Mueller report clearly lays out in the final few pages that impeachment would not be the end all be all, and that a prosecutor could charge him after he’s removed from office with this collection of Obstruction evidence alone. So to put it back to you... how does it feel to be a liar and a cult follower of a criminal president? Does it empower you because you get to “own the libs” on the Internet? Is your real like that bad or boring that you need Trump like a drug to make yourself feel better about your life? If you just like right wing SCOTUS judges, or tax policies favoring the rich sure...
