Gordon is a poor decision maker and when shooting poorly should not be getting end game minutes.

I found it very believable. It has happened literally all season long.

    Although...

Rockets vs Warriors: 3 wins, 1 2-point loss

Rockets vs Jazz: 2-2, including a 27-point win on their home court without CP3

Something tells me many of you are exaggerating our deficiencies because you're freaking out over last night's loss.

I believe we'd had the best record since the All Star Break.
    But yet, everyone panics

When we win, we have 30 pages of game thread. No real support.
But WHEN WE LOSE, the naysayers come out of the woodwork. LOL
Seeing some posts from names I don't recall seeing in some time if EVER.
Latent fans come out to throw their garbage at the team. Stay classy Houston

Our RS against GS has been very fluky, with guys missing on both sides for all games. The only reason we were up 3-2 last year against GS was because we busted our ass so much on the defensive end and were extremely focused all game. We haven't seen that from the Rockets this year although they were better towards the end of the season. But this was a must win game in a playoff atmosphere and they choked hard, not a great sign.

Regarding the Jazz, one of our worst losses of the season was in Utah as well. I don't see how you could disagree with my assessment that they'd be "tough," doesn't mean we can't win!

Crestfallen at the loss. Same problem all season long. 13pt 4th quarter lead with *real stakes* here. Championship teams close these games with those stakes. Really disappointed.

Rockets had the same intensity as the LAC game, difference was OKC *punched back* and the Rockets could not counter. GSW will punch back. Utah will punch back.

OKC 32-12 fastbreak point edge over the Rockets
OKC 56-42 rebound edge over the Rockets.

Very similar story to the Bucks loss.

100% this. Just like you don't want a game to come down to the last shot, you don't want the season to come down to the last game. Everything matters. And it started with the poor roster construction over the summer that lead to the slow start and things cascaded from there.

Rockets had injuries, but could overcome them with the proper roster FROM THE START. Seeding was compromised and here we are.

He is the star bro blame comes hand in hand with the glory. People remember Michael Jordan not the 4 other guys he played with. Thats why he is being paid the big bucks he is supposed to get going when the going gets tough.

Saying the Rox dont deserve Harden thats just dumb. If Harden put up Hakeem-esque nos and still lost then ok. But Harden chucked 39% from the field to go along with only 33% from 3 and only 3 assists. How can he lead his team to making their shots when he himself is shooting blanks?

What if he shot less, drove more and assisted his teammates instead of looking for his own shot? He could have done something more and escaped with the W.

Warriors are playing half assed theu have 2 rings and internal discord they gmdont give a **** about the regular season series.

Rox cant even put away OKC with 2 stars how they going to beat GsW with 5 stars? Rox only lost last series with GsW by one game but the difference proved insurmountable.

I'm adding in Portland to that sequence. Two buzzer beaters that crapped on our team in a span of like.... 45 minutes. That's unreal.

Only thing that really pissed me off last night is GG was going off and scored 15 points in 15 minutes and never saw the floor again, Jeff really made a poor decision there. **** it time to move on.

It's a must win for playoff seeding implications obviously. Don't see how one could possibly argue against that.

If you can't acknowledge that history has shown that seeding is extremely important in terms of winning a championship, then I won't continue this discussion.

I get the seeding just fine but I also understand that the difference bw being the "2" and as low as "4th" this year is literally going to be 1 game. so apparently, that tells you because of a 1 game difference, that automatically means no championship. we're not talking about a significant multi game gap here.

so if denver loses tonight and the rockets get the "2nd seed", their odds are dramatically better despite playing no more games?
