Very very stupid move on the nuggets part. This is so blatant and conspicuous, they clearly saying we aren't going to beat the rockets in the playoffs.

Would be great if the Rockets end up with the #2 seed and Denver #3.

As long as Rockets do what they're supposed to and win the 1st round, and so does Denver - they just lost home court over a gamble that this RED HOT Rockets team would end up 4th.

Does Sasquatch take a dump in the woods?

The way the Rockets are playing right now, no team wants to see them in the playoffs.

She is so thic and juicy. I'm really developing an unhealthy thang for miss.

I love it that the Worriers are tweeting smack about us and the Nuggets are trying to avoid us. We are sooooo scary right now. No team wants us. I know it's going to take work to get there but at this point it feels like the western conference at large is more afraid of meeting us than "the town".

    Damn she is soooo thicc.

I find Rachel Nichols to be insufferable. Her monologues are cringe worthy and that whole show is premised on lazy hot takes. If they were entertaining like Skip and Shannon or Stephen A Smith it would be okay. But she sucks.

But, that's assuming Houston is most likely the #4 seed after the dusts clears. Is it worth possibly giving up the 2nd seed to Houston just to find out? Now you're on the road vs. BOTH the Rockets or the Warriors in the semis.

Denver isnt gonna make it out of the first round regardless. Even though they have the 2nd best record right now, I believe they're the weakest team in the playoffs.

Yes, it was in order for the Rockets to get the 4th seed.

They don't want to see the Rockets in the 2nd round whether it's with HCA or not. To them it doesn't matter if they finished 2nd or 3rd. They know the outcome will be the same.

They want the easier path, and that path is with OKC, Golden State, and Houston on the other side of the bracket. If Houston loses then that will be perfect for them.

Good strategy, but this is the mindset of a pretender and not a true contender.

The Rockets don't care if they finished 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. They're ready.

I gotta say, the playoff race in the NBA West this year is probably the most interesting and exciting one I've ever seen for any sport. It's crazy what's still on the table with only a maximum of two games left.

What the Nuggets are doing makes a lot of sense in terms of simply moving chess pieces on a board if they're will to potentially sacrifice home-court advantage to maybe see us get the 4th seed and be over on the Warriors' side of the bracket.

I think they're being foolish, though, especially with their remaining schedule. The Jazz aren't entirely out of the picture to grab the 4th seed if Portland loses their last two games. They're going to come to play, Denver. The T-Wolves almost beat the Thunder of Sunday. I could see Denver losing their last two games.

It's imperative that the Rockets take care of business tomorrow. The Thunder have a lot to lose if they drop any more games. They'd lose the tiebreaker against the Spurs, and their tiebreaker with the Clippers goes way down the rabbit hole potentially being decided by the two teams' records against other playoff teams. The Thunder could possibly end up the 8th seed. They're going to come to play as well. The Rockets have to be ready.

This is going to be a crazy couple of days.

2015 was even crazier for us, could've ended up as low as 6th and high as 2nd which we did because Spurs lost on the last day and was 6th. This year however it's definitely craziest, last 2 games will decide 7 seeds out of 8! There are 3 sets of teams close to each other.

Rockets will secure the 3rd seed if they beat OKC tmr. Nuggets will drop to the 3rd seed if Jazz happen to take them out but it seems like the Jazz have nothing to play for so don't get your hopes up.

It's a smart move on their part, just very pathetic. They know that they aren't going to beat the Rockets at full strength no matter what the seeding is because they haven't beaten the full team since Capella became a starter (they beat without Capella this year). I think losing in 6 to us would be lucky for them.

Getting the Trailblazers or whoever ends up 6 (I don't think Portland gets out of the 1st round) is much more favorable than Houston.

I have a feeling this is going to backfire on the Nuggets...this type of stuff never works out.

Maybe they agreed to split and that's why Dame didn't look like he was trying in game 1.

Seems like it. I hope it backfires on them. Rockets need to take care of business tonight though.
