Harden should be the #1 answer for questions #1, 3, 4, and 6.

Nobody remember who the players pick. Doesn't matter in the slightest.

Makes Brian Windhorst look funny, though.

James may win his 2nd MVP in as many years but still they dont want him if they had to start a franchise. LOL

Ehhh..... I wouldn't pick Harden either because he will be 30 years old by next season.

There are a lot of guys 5-6 years younger that will be elite after James is likely on the decline.

People do not realize how good a defender Kawhi Leonard is. He is usually mentioned in the top 3-4 when best defenders are discussed. The reality is that he is the clear cut best defender in the NBA, capable of covering all 5 positions at a plus level. He is capable of playing quicker players and also physically aggressive players.

What is interesting, is that I constantly hear from the media that Giannis Antetokounmpo is a phenom defensively. The players apparently do not agree, as Patrick Beverly got 10X as many votes as him. So why is Giannis the MVP?

Most interesting thing is Giannis doesn't even rate Top 5 for defense, yet DPOY is a big part of his MVP narrative.

I don't agree with all of the player votes... simply saying that I wouldn't pick Harden #1 because of his age. Some of the players also voted for Haslem and Cousins as someone to start a franchise around.

yeah i noticed that with other guys at the bottom of that list. but I find it pretty puzzling how someone can be an mvp and not even be close to someone you would start a team with. pretty contradicting but oh well

This could help swing things in Harden's favor in the media vote. A good tie-breaker is what Harden's peers think.

This is why most of the voters are all r****dds. They should just let the players vote from now on. They play with them so they know.

Players, coaches, and executives/general managers would be good. Allowing the Michelle Beadles and Royce Youngs of the world to have NBA MVP votes diminishes the award.

I kinda wish it was just GMs. Can’t vote for your own player and if you vote for someone who you know damn right you shouldn’t you lose your job.(if Morey voted for anyone but Giannis or Horst picks anyone but Harden.)

Sad is most of them that gets to vote have never ever touch a basketball in their life...not let alone, can run a full basketball court without faiting.
