At least this means they will still try to beat Denver, i was starting to think they could've rested their players in the last games but they need a W regardless, and if they lose to the Lakers i think there's a good chance they might lose against the Clippers in L.A too.
Nobody has been f-cking with the Rockets all season - Other GM's, MVP voters, Buyout candidates. It's good that all they have to do is win so none of this matters. The level of bullsh-t going on is just making it so the Rockets have to be at peak powers going into the playoffs. Going into the last game of the season, Rockets are playing their best basketball. Now they get to test themselves against a worthy OKC opponent right before the playoffs? This is a perfect scenario to boost confidence will everyone else engaging in that bullsh-t.
They can still move up to 4th or move down to 6th. They own the tiebreaker over Portland due to Conference record and now have to win their last 2 while Portland loses their last 2 to move up. They definitely aren't locked-in for Tuesday's game. May be locked in when Wednesday rolls around depending on what happens Tuesday.
Ok, that's good to know. I just want them to try to beat the Nuggets on Tuesday. I don't give a rat's ass about Wednesday. In fact, I hope Utah doesn't care about that game since I want the Clippers to move up in the standings and wind up our first round opponent.
Nobody helps the Rockets. I’m pretty sure the Bucks will rest their starters in the last game against OKC to help them out too.
Westbrook has spearheaded another underachieving season for OKC -- that equals at least three consecutive.
Besides Griffin the Pistons are a trash team. They don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. On the other hand the Magic have been playing great basketball and are clicking at the right time. I can see them giving one of the upper tier teams a scare and taking the series to seven games.
Seriously, wtf is wrong with NBA teams? It seems like no one ever wants to cooperate with Houston. Jazz are and will always be trash team, how the fk do you lose to the lakers when it matters... The Jazz better give it their all against Denver but I wouldn’t count on it, even though they still have a shot at 4 seed. I don’t know what to expect anymore. Denver trash franchise vs the Jazz trashiest (not a word) ever franchise in history of all sports.
Anyone know why there aren't any games scheduled for today? Is it just because of the NCAA championship?
You're correct. The CBS/Turner partnership really dictates the scheduling around NBA and NCAA tournament games.
Has Green been told that he's out or likely out of the playoff rotation? I say this because he hasn't gotten any non-garbage minutes the last few games and his body language has shown on multiple occasions that he's defeated and down on himself. I want his energetic spark to return!
