My mega-Baptist great aunt forwarded an email (as she was wont to do) family-wide back in 2016 about how Trump is going to save Christianity. Jaw-dropping, to say the least. My mother replied-to-all, "The devil won't save Christians." That was the end of my great aunt including the family in her forwarded emails.

For the sake of discussion, let's say it affects the environment and us. We need to find out how much and compare it to how much damage the oil industry has done to this the environment. Only then can we determine if the risk is acceptable.
Yes, it was and it is. Are you fine with trump telling multiple lies every single day? A majority of Americans aren't OK with it. Mr. trump lost the popular vote to Ms. Clinton by 3,000,000 in 2016, trump babbling that the vote was "rigged" the whole time. You OK with that? He's saying (and has said multiple times) that the 2018 midterms were rigged, an election where the GOP lost the popular vote to the tune of 9,000,000. Are you OK with that? Are you OK with trump talking like he's stoned out of his gourd? If he were the host of a cable TV reality show, I could understand you not giving a damn, but he is not. You're really OK with this crap?

Actually, I think the question "is trump nuts?" is a separate and worthwhile topic. The question has been raised recently in the press, a number of books have been written asking the question, and some of the things he has done recently seem to suggest its getting worse. I said it I believe a few months ago in a longer more detailed post than this one. But... if Trump wins again and is still president by the year 2023/2024 you will wish he was as stable as is now talking about windmill bs and repeatedly lying about his father. By that point Trump will be so off his rocker it will be very interesting to see what happens.

I think they are. I can value loyalty when someone deserves it, but the Trumpanzees truly stick with him, even when he lies about (or mixes up) where his own father was born. #MAHA (Make America Hate Again)
