There was this one team that once poached our rising stud parsons from us. This team had a really miserable year this year. Sure doncic was great, but the guy they acquired has missed like half of every season since he made the league. The good news is that when you do poorly, you get a high pick right? I’m honored to say, not quite. The Mavs gave the Hawks a top 5 protected pick. If the lottery balls fall as planned, the mavs will get the 7th pick, which they will promptly turn over to da dirty birds. Championship, MVP, and Mavs losing their lottery pick to a team in the east would be a trifecta from above.
It’s actually not clear at this point whether doncic will even have a better career than trae. Started out as Doncic clear favorite, but now the hawks may have taken both the better player AND a free 7th overall pick
Cuban likes his white players because he can hang with them without feeling like a total dork. Now he has three of them.
I was really low on Young but man he has turned it around fast. Now he needs to go to whatever doctor Brian Urlacher and Daniel Negraneu went to and get his hairline fixed.
Sarcasm? I know they didn't "officially" draft him, but they traded for him as soon as Atlanta selected him
It's a win-win trade, Doncic has a good chance to be the next James Harden, or Larry Bird, Dallas gets what they want.

Free birds weren't a reference to Hawks or Pelican players. It is a reference to buyout players that can go any anywhere. We got 3 of them this season with 2 of them panning out.
